Here are some games this week that will be excellent matchups that have some talent that will go head to head and a lot of talent on the floor in general.

Syracuse vs. Woods Cross

Two really good veteran teams that have a lot of experience on the roster. Excited to see [player_tooltip player_id='934027' first='Mason' last='Bendinger'] and [player_tooltip player_id='935898' first='Kaden' last='Ericksen'] go head to head. [player_tooltip player_id='969245' first='Jaxon' last='Smith'] should have a variety of players that will try and track him down. This game could turn into a track meet as both teams have the players and the skills to play up-tempo. [player_tooltip player_id='935898' first='Kaden' last='Ericksen'] is a D2 prospect and [player_tooltip player_id='934027' first='Mason' last='Bendinger'] is a boarder line LM D1 kid. [player_tooltip player_id='969245' first='Jaxon' last='Smith'] can go from a current NWAC recruit to an NAIA, D2, D3 player that has a lot of skill at the PG position. This is a great 5A vs. 6A matchup that will help both teams moving forward measuring stick wise.

Lehi vs. Westlake

These two teams have a few games under their belt and Lehi has been stellar and Westlake has found ways to survive. Over at Westlake is next man up or next senior up as they lost the bulk of their team due to graduation and this year the reload again with a new set of seniors that will take the reign. Really like [player_tooltip player_id='1206982' first='Maverick' last='McManus'] over at Westlake as a big that can roam all over the floor and he is a rebounding machine. Lehi will try and spread this team out with clever sets and motions but look for their guards led by [player_tooltip player_id='1057037' first='Cooper' last='Lewis'] to try and take advantage of their three-point making ability.

Cyprus vs. Lone Peak

Cyprus has one of the toughest pre-season schedules and mainly because their region schedule is not going tohelp them make a playoff run. [player_tooltip player_id='1057025' first='Diego' last='Mulford'] has been excellent this year as has [player_tooltip player_id='934030' first='Quentin' last='Meza']. Cyprus has some solid role players but they need more from them as they will need them to help with the load. Lone Peak has a good one in [player_tooltip player_id='1146663' first='Ike' last='Staley'] and I like the shooting of [player_tooltip player_id='1116137' first='Luke' last='Fotheringham'] and Jaxon Best. Lone peak is no walk over. Should be a crazy atmosphere.

PG vs. Timpview

PG needs some bounce back wins and they have the dudes to really play at a high level. Isaac Garret has been poised to have a breakout so look for him to have a breakout this week. Would not be surprised if Timpview went to a zone. [player_tooltip player_id='934031' first='James' last='Rust'] has been leading this Timpview team and PG has different type of guards to trow at him which should make for a great game.

Thursday

Olympus vs. Woods Cross

Heavyweight 5A matchup as these teams have a shot to take it all the way. Rematch from the state title game and I'm sure that emotions will be high. Olympus has one of the best student sections in the state and they could really change the game on this one. This might come down to some role players like [player_tooltip player_id='1278502' first='Gavin' last='Lowe'] and even [player_tooltip player_id='1185170' first='Hunter' last='Jackson'] as these youngsters get in the game and leave their mark on this one.

Friday

Ridgeline vs. Springville

This game is great for both teams as one is a 5A program and the other a 4A program and both who are just looking to get better. Springville has a young big that will take on a more seasoned big [player_tooltip player_id='1235094' first='Jagger' last='Francom']. [player_tooltip player_id='1278439' first='Jamyn' last='Sondrup'] will not back down and these guys will go at it all game. Whoever controls the glass and the paint will win this one.
