Regardless of what team they play for in college they will be a part of either helping a program continue to win or helping a program create a new culture and turn the program in the right direction.
He has no problem getting in the lane and finishing against bigger guys. With his ability to consistently shot the mid-range pull-up, he keeps the defenders off guard and allows to be able to get to the cup and finish. Since being awarded the five-star rating earlier this year he has not disappointed so far. The Arkansas Razorbacks are lucky to have blocker wearing its uniform next season and I look forward to seeing how they implement him into there system.
Barrett is a big and strong point guard that plays with pace. When coming off screens he knows how to make the right play and see the game from a different viewpoint. He makes passes that will have you scratching your head about how he saw that. He is very strong with basketball and understands how to use his body to create space on the perimeter. If he grabs the rebound and has his teammates running the lanes he is guaranteed to find one of them for either an easy lay up or a wide open shot.
Holloway is a guard that is relentless in getting to the cup. He loves to get in the teeth of the defense and then elevate off of two feet to shoot the mid-range while leaning back. He is a great guard to use in the pick and roll and e always seems to make the right decision. He understands when to score and how to draw the defense to give his teammates open looks. When you pressure him, he understands how to switch speeds to keep the defense off balance.
He is a flat-out shooter that has never come across a shot he didn’t like. Throughout the game, he knocked down shots from deep. I had a chance to see him earlier this year at the Air Capital Hoopfest in Wichita, KS. They played Oak Hill and he went on a run after being down 15 plus, he was instrumental in knocking down three consecutive three-pointers to lead the charge. He only needs a little bit of space to get his shot off and what impressed me the most, he didn’t need a bunch of dribbles to create space.
