#1. [player_tooltip player_id='1076702' first='Shane' last='Douma-Sanchez'] "Del Norte" Point Guard Class of 2023: The Del Norte Senior PG is the new #1 ranked player in the updated 2023 Rankings. [player_tooltip player_id='1076702' first='Shane' last='Douma-Sanchez'] has been the top player in his Class for some time now and is State Champion for the Del Norte Knights. Very few in this State can score the way he can on the floor. Even after tearing his ACL over a year ago, that hasn't stopped him from leading the State in scoring to start the season so far.

#3. [player_tooltip player_id='1076701' first='Judah' last='Casaus'] "ABC Prep" Shooting Guard Class of 2023: [player_tooltip player_id='1076701' first='Judah' last='Casaus'] has been very under appreciated for a few years now. Back in his sophomore year, he led Del Norte to their first Basketball State Championship in school history. During his junior year he posted career highs of 16.8 points per game 4.9 rebounds per game and 2.4 steals per game for Del Norte. Now as a Senior he's joined ABC Prep on the Grind Session and has taken his game to another level with his improved shooting and playmaking.

#7. [player_tooltip player_id='1485758' first='Alexis' last='Dominguez'] "Highland" Point Guard Class of 2023: The reigning State Champion [player_tooltip player_id='1485758' first='Alexis' last='Dominguez'] has been waking up a lot of people lately with his recent play. Throughout the off-season, he has become the main and primary scoring option for the Highland Hornets while still playing winning basketball. He has easily become one of the states top point guards and players overall.

#8. [player_tooltip player_id='1362491' first='Caileb' last='Parham'] "Eldorado" Shooting Guard Class of 2023: [player_tooltip player_id='1362491' first='Caileb' last='Parham'] had a breakout season last year, and led the Eldorado Eagles to the State Tournament last year. His stock went up and carried into the off-season. [player_tooltip player_id='1362491' first='Caileb' last='Parham'] is an athletic scoring guard that plays above the air and is dangerous in transition. He is a very elite isolation and one on one player who can get whatever shot he wants on the floor.

#12. [player_tooltip player_id='1301617' first='Adam' last='Montoya'] "St. Michaels" Shooting Guard Class of 2023: After leading the St. Michaels Horsemen to the 3A State Championship last year, its safe to say that their wasn't 28 players better than [player_tooltip player_id='1301617' first='Adam' last='Montoya']. Him and the Horsemen got hot at the right time last season. He displayed a lot of heart and leadership on top from his All-Around play. [player_tooltip player_id='1301617' first='Adam' last='Montoya'] is an exceptional scorer who is an underrated rebounder for a guard.

#13. [player_tooltip player_id='1234592' first='Jonah' last='Lopez'] "Rio Grande" Shooting Guard Class of 2023: Rio Grande's [player_tooltip player_id='1234592' first='Jonah' last='Lopez'] is one of the most special players in the 2023 Class. He is one of the states most underrated prospects because of the lack of success the Rio Grande Ravens have produced the last few years. From an individual standpoint, [player_tooltip player_id='1234592' first='Jonah' last='Lopez'] is one of the most versatile guards/wings you will find in the metro area. He can play multiple positions on both ends and isn't one dimensional with his scoring. He posted averages of 17 points per game and 9 rebounds per game last season and will have increased production this year as a senior.

#17. Brandon Lagunas "West Mesa" Shooting Guard Class of 2023: Brandon Lagunas was the Mustangs best player last season while leading them to the 5A Boys State Playoffs. This will be another season where he is the teams best player and this time with increased odds at making a deep playoff run in the Spring. Brandon Lagunas is a seasoned varsity scorer who doesn't need to be flashy to get buckets. He plays the game at his own pace and can hold his own with the best of them. Brandon is a silent assassin.

#18. [player_tooltip player_id='1076721' first='Ezra' last='Guest'] "Los Lunas" Shooting Guard Class of 2023: One of the states most efficient scoring guards in New Mexico. [player_tooltip player_id='1076721' first='Ezra' last='Guest'] takes very smart shots and plays the game at a nice speed. He has a solid mid-range game and can run the offense well for the Tigers. [player_tooltip player_id='1076721' first='Ezra' last='Guest'] is a reliable playmaker on the floor.

#29. [player_tooltip player_id='1360185' first='Nick' last='Dial'] "Manzano" Forward Class of 2023: One of the most athletic slashers in the community and plays above the air. [player_tooltip player_id='1360185' first='Nick' last='Dial'] is very dangerous in the open floor and will get his share of dunks in transition each game. He is a highlight waiting to happen.
