Emmett Lawton Emmett Lawton 6'2" | SG Notre Dame Academy | 2023 State WI — SG — Notre Dame
What a night it was for Notre Dame’s Lawton. Not only did the shooting guard tally 32 points, but he also drained the game-winning shot. Lawton’s stock has steadily increased since the summer. College programs need to keep an eye on Lawton.
Davion Hannah Davion Hannah 6'5" | SF Nicolet | 2025 State #33 Nation WI — SF — Nicolet
Hannah’s terrific start to his sophomore season continued on Tuesday night. Even though his squad fell to a talented Homestead team, Hannah still put-up good numbers. Shooting 10-16 from the field, the small forward tallied 24 points. Look for Hannah to catch the attention of college programs this winter.
Solomon Garrison Solomon Garrison 5'10" | PG Homestead | 2023 State WI — PG — Homestead
I don’t think that Garrison has gotten enough attention recently. Hopefully his performance on Tuesday night will change that. In a win for his team, the point guard was able to post 24 points.
Amari McCottry Amari McCottry 6'5" | SF St. Thomas More | 2024 State #304 Nation WI — SF — Saint Thomas More
I think that it is safe to say McCottry is pretty good at basketball… The Saint Thomas More small forward just knows how to get buckets. He uses his athleticism and skill to score well around the rim. In the winning effort, McCottry dropped 37 points, including 10-13 shooting from the free throw line.
Demerius Shakur Demerius Shakur 6'2" | CG Martin Luther | 2023 State WI — PG — Martin Luther
His team wasn’t able to pull off the win, but Shakur can still hold his head high. The point guard is proving to be one of the best floor generals in the state. He scores well and gets his teammates involved. Shakur scored 18 points and dished out six assists on Tuesday night.
Derrick Johnson Derrick Johnson 6'3" | CG Dominican | 2024 State WI — SG — Dominican
Johnson is a prospect to keep a close eye on. The 2024 combo guard is truly a lethal shooter from beyond the arc. In another win for his squad, Johnson scored an efficient 17 points. He shot 6-7 from the field, including three made shots from deep.
Will Hornseth Will Hornseth 6'8" | PF De Pere | 2024 State #208 Nation WI — PF — DePere
Hornseth is poised for a huge junior season. After impressing on the AAU circuit with Wisconsin Blizzard, the power forward is now playing at a high-level for DePere. On Tuesday, Hornseth led his squad in scoring with 18 points.
Alex Sippy Alex Sippy 6'2" | SG Westosha Central | 2023 State WI — SG — Westosha Central
Sippy has some real potential. I have been really impressed by how much better the shooting guard has gotten over the years. It is clear he has put in the work, and it is paying off. In a blowout win for Westosha Central on Tuesday, the guard was able to tally 18 points.
Henry Meyer — SG — La Crosse Central
La Crosse Central continues to produce top tier talent. This Central team doesn’t have the star power that recent teams have had, but this squad is still very good. On Tuesday, it was Meyer who stole the spotlight. He scored 25 points for his team in the blowout win.
Jamariea Dalton Jamariea Dalton 6'3" | SG Fond Du Lac | 2023 State WI — SG — Fon Du Lac
One of the more electric scorers in the state, Dalton is a prospect who college programs need to know. He is a quick, skilled player who can score at a very high level. Last night, the shooting guard was able to score 19 points and lead his squad to a victory.
