Continue ReadingPratt was on fire in the first half of the game ending with 13 points and shooting 5 – 5 from the field. The work that Pratt did in the first half, allowed his teammates to get opportunities because the defense keyed in on him. He was equally deadly from a distance as he was from mid-range and what I saw new from him was his ability to not settle for being a catch-and-shot guy. He showed a few times his ability to take somebody off the dribble and get to the basket or create for himself.
Forsythe was a constant for dale the entire game. He started the game off by knocking down a three-point shot and then getting to the basket for a layup. What impressed me the most is his ability to get to his spot in the mid-range and then raise and shot over the defense. He ended the game with a stat line of 27 pts, 8 rebs, and 5 ast. When he wasn’t scoring he was getting his teammates involved to contribute as well. He is a leader on both ends of the floor and never forces the issue even when he is being double-teamed.

Cotts was clutch the entire game. He finished the game as the second-leading scorer with 14 points but some of his most important buckets came when his team needed them the most. It seems every time dale was about to go on a run to the point of blowing Crossings Christian out is when he would knock down a basket or make a key play to keep them in the game. The way he plays is commendable on the defensive side of things because at times it looks as if he is out of the play and then he comes out of nowhere to make a play. This tactic created three separate opportunities for him to get a steal and his team always converted on the other end as a result of it.
Kitchens was deadly from the three-point like all night long. At one point in time, I thought they were going to get blown out and kitchens knocked down two threes to get his team back in the basketball game. When he is on the offensive side of the ball he never stops moving and always finds his way to an open shot. Caden can fill a spot on a roster for a program that needs somebody to catch a shot.
