Perimeter shooting is a premium in today's game, here are the leaders in the 2023 class in made triples. Bar minimum is 30+ made triples

[player_tooltip player_id='1284572' first='Silas' last='McCurnin'] - Poudre

Talk about being on a heater. McCurnin epitomizes volume shooting to the highest degreee, already attempting over 100 three pointers through eight games. The Northern Colorado combo guard has recently committed to Colorado School of Mines, a testament to their trust his shot. McCurnin is a versatile shotmaker from beyond, proving capable stepping into pullups or utilizing an on-ball screen to create space. To kick off the season, McCurnin has posted 24.3 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and a career high 55% on two point field goal attempts. Although only at 33% from beyond the arc, he has a proven track record, knocking down 40.4% through his first three seasons. Already possessing incredible gravity, McCurnin's free throw volume will be especially intriguing throughout the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1577998' first='Hunter' last='Guiles'] - Valor Chrisitian

Guiles sits atop the class for efficiency and volume. Through his first nine games, the combo guard has knocked down 31 triples at a 51% clip. That would currently sit him in the highest efficiency among 30+ made threes within the state, regardless of class. The combo guard has recently received an offer from Augustana College, although shooting is only one facet to his game. Guiles can create pull up jumpers in the mid-range, showing more patience within the halfcourt than previous seasons. To kick off the season, the 6'2 combo guard has posted 14.9 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. His mental toughness cannot go overlooked either, after going 0-6 from three versus Smoky Hill, Guiles has knocked down nearly 59% of his triples over his last five games. Already a physical guard, keep tabs on Guiles' on his ability to grab and go off of defensive rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='1715226' first='Antonio' last='Joseph Martinez'] - Fountain Fort Carson

The pleasant surprise for Fountain Fort Carson, Martinez has spearheaded a 10-0 start through excellent shotmaking off the catch and dribble. Standing right around 6' tall, the combo guard boasts a quick shot that may be leveraged in a variety of situations. We previously covered Martinez at the beginning of the month, here.

Gage Martinez - Pueblo West

Elevating himself this season, Martinez is a rock solid shooter off the catch. The 6' tall combo guard brings a diverse pallet as a three sport athlete. Producing 13 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1.9 steals per game on 41% efficiency beyond the arc. Martinez gets boasts excellent footwork, allowing him to easily flow into jumpers from either direction.

Sven Zaimovic - George Washington

Zaimovic recently rose to prominence throughout the summer thanks to his confident shotmaking from around the floor. The George Washington guard is the final qualifier within the 30+ made grouping. Knocking down 46% of his 67 three point attempts, Zaimovic has posted 14.6 points through nine games to start the season. The shooting guard has been a major bright spot George Washington, who has had troubles to start the season in the win-loss column.
