<p><strong>Kokomo Tournament First Round Results </strong></p>

<p>The first round of the Phil Cox Memorial Kokomo Tournament took place today and it saw a lot of action from a lot of top players in the state. </p>

<p>Here are the results of the first round: Warren Central defeated Guerin Catholic 41-40, Brownsburg defeated Columbia City 78-37, Center Grove defeated South Bend Riley 73-62, and Kokomo defeated FW Bishop Luers 75-48. </p>

<p><strong>Linton finally wins Wabash Valley Classic Championship</strong></p>

<p>The Miners finally were able to capture the Wabash Valley Classic Championship tonight after finishing as the runner-ups five times. It was UCF commit [player_tooltip player_id='868240' first='Joey' last='Hart'], who averaged 20 ppg in the tournament, who, along with [player_tooltip player_id='935736' first='Logan' last='Webb'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1158180' first='Braden' last='Walters'], was able to lead the Miners over 1A #1 Bloomfield 56-44. Linton-Stockton is now 10-1 on the year. </p>

<p><strong>Homestead beats Mishawaka Marian in OT to win Homestead Tourney </strong></p>

<p>In the final day of the Homestead Tournament, it was the Spartans that were able to hold ground and win their own tournament by defeating Mishawaka Marian 55-49 in OT in the first place game. 2023 guard [player_tooltip player_id='868270' first='Kyron' last='Kaopuiki'] was the leading scorer on the night with 20 points. On the other side, [player_tooltip player_id='1295304' first='Jackson' last='Price'] lead Mishawaka Marian with 17 points. This was the first loss for Marian this season. </p>
