Dalton Scantlebury Dalton Scantlebury 6'8" | PF Lane Tech | 2025 State IL (Lane Tech – 2025)
Continue to really like where the game of the Lane Tech post is trending. At the Team Rose event he showcased his ability to pound the offensive glass for put backs, seal on the low block, and use a nice hook shot. Really effective shot blocker on the defensive end. He had 18 points. Looking like a D1 guy early on.
Rokas Castillo Rokas Castillo 5'11" | PG Lemont | 2023 State IL (Lemont – 2023)
Castillo was outstanding for Lemont. The point guard was lights out from the perimeter knocking in three after three. Plus spot up shooter that can do it on his own as well. Creates for his mid-range shot and is such an active defender. Went for 21 points.
Jacob Rice Jacob Rice 6'4" | SG Western Reserve Acadmey | 2025 OH (St. Laurence – 2024)
Rice was really good against Farragut. The sophomore two guard has nice size and strength. Plus shooter off the catch that bombed them in. Showed some handles as well being able to finish through contact at the cup netting 15 points on a balanced St. Laurence squad.
George Bellevue George Bellevue 6'5" | PF Lincoln Way East | 2023 State IL (Lincoln Way East – 2023)
Bellevue has always been one of my favorites to watch in this class. High energy four man that is so active around the cup. He brings it every single game! Against Westinghouse Bellevue dropped 24 points. Seals, tip dunks, spin moves, and stepped out to hit a pair of threes. Works well out of the dunker spot and is a factor on the defensive end. He had 24 points.
Stefan Cicic Stefan Cicic 7'0" | C Riverside Brookfield | 2024 State IL (Riverside Brookfield – 2024)
Big bodied five has a college ready body right now as a junior in high school. Against St. Ignatius he went to work early and often down low with right handed hook shots one after another. Converts in the pick/roll and even flashed a mid-range jumper. If he can continue to show that it will be big for his development. Very good area rebounder and is a tough post defender in the paint. He had 16 points.
Phoenix Gill Phoenix Gill 6'3" | SG St. Ignatius | 2025 State #72 Nation IL (St. Ignatius – 2025)
Best we have seen the top 5 2025 prospect play. He took over for a stretch in their win against RB looking ultra smooth in the open floor and winning off the bounce. Mixed in scoop shots and and-1s. Capable three point shooter that also spent a lot of energy chasing around RB’s top wing. He had 17 points.
Damarion Morris (Hyde Park – 2023)
Morris is a strong bodied combo guard that isn’t the most projectable, but when he is rolling like he was on Saturday he gets buckets in bunches. Drained four from distance in the victory over HF. Mixed in some gritty drives for 23 points.
DeAndre Craig DeAndre Craig 5'11" | PG Mt. Carmel | 2023 State IL (Mt. Carmel – 2023)
Craig is headed to Denver next season. Like what he brings as a leader, competitor, and winner. Scored 18 points in their victory against Curie impacting the game in so many ways. Rebounds well for a guard and his floater game was on point as he lived in the lane.
Anthony Ciaravino Anthony Ciaravino 6'1" | SG Mt. Carmel | 2023 State IL (Mt. Carmel – 2023)
Craig’s senior running mate in the back court is a flat out sniper from deep. Nailed six triples off the catch for 20 points. High level shot maker that will make a small college very happy at the next level.
