Led the team to a 23-2 record and #1 ranking before Covid. He was a 2nd team All-State player. He was on the varsity for 3 years and was a role player for the state runner-up team his sophomore year. Blake is the 2nd leading scorer in program history, 2nd in assists & steals for a single season.“

Dom’s better playing days are ahead of him as he will fill out his 6’8” frame.“

Matt Gooselaw (freshman) 6’5″ M State Fergus Falls
He is another 2022 graduate from Sheyenne. Gooselaw was a key role player for the State qualifying Mustangs. You could always count on Matt to give 100% effort and his hook shot was noteworthy. He played inside with his length but could also stretch the floor and knockdown 3-pointers. At Fergus Falls, Gooselaw is averaging 4.5 ppg and 4.1 rpg. The Spartans are 6-5 on the year and Gooselaw has started in 10 of the 11 games. Former coach Tom Kirchoffner has this to say about Matt: “A very resilient player and great shooter from the outside. Another player that is going to get better as he plays more. From being cut his freshmen year, to a bench player his sophomore year, to working his way into the varsity lineup his senior year. At 6’6” he does a great job rebounding on both ends while creating matchup problems on the offensive end. Has had a couple of double-digit scoring games for Fergus in the young season.“
