Playing with Montverde has allowed Stewart to showcase his passing. When set at the elbow or high post the offense can run through the Duke commit while keeping him a scoring threat. There were flashes last year but they’re fully realized when he doesn’t have to be the primary scoring option.
The lead guard started just outside of the 2024 rankings and is ready to make it look like a bad decision. He exudes leadership with the way he coaches him teammates on the court and makes adjustments to the game on the fly. His ability to orchestrate high paced offense and bend defenses are strengths for the playmakers. High level passing and constantly looking like a scoring threat keeps pressure on defenses.
Jaden Wolner
The 6’4 combo guard will keep attention on Naples all year. His size, positional athleticism, playmaking, and scoring instincts have stuffed his stat sheet. He’s scoring 20+ a game grabbing 6 rebounds and dishing 4 assist a game.
Edwards had two polarizing games to start the season. The first being a 24 point double double in a fast paced game. He showcased his size, strength, and slashing on Day 1. The next day he scored two points. The 6’5 is brimming with talent but can struggle with inconsistency in his play. A JUCO or small college looking to develop an inside outside with a high motor talent will love Edwards
Mari Favors
Favors scored on all three level opening night. The 5’9 guard has quickness to get to his spots and shooting to make you pay when he does. He’s a solid off ball defender that can shoot passing gaps and contain his man. He knows how to bend defenses to open spots up for teammates. His combination of playmaking and scoring make Favors an under the radar prospect.
