Kobe is more of a 6’4 ish combo guard that can play the point or off the ball. Hillcrest kind of requires him to play multiple position because they are a 4 guard team. When Kobe is defending bigger players he is more effective when he fronts because he can then use his athleticism, footwork and speed to defend. He has good timing on blocks and rebounds. He is more naturally a 3 or 2 and he plays those positions on offense as his team plays somewhat of a fluid 4 guard position-less style. He can run the floor and finish above the rim. He shoots well from distance and he is good attacking the rim and using that quick first step. He would be an ideal D2 or NAIA player that could continue to develop at a 4 year school.
Very athletic off the ball wing who might be bigger than 6’2, more like 6’4 but this kid can fly. If schools at the next level run a three guard offense and he can play the three. He would be efficient because he gets up and down the floor and the kid is a show in the open floor. NWAC schools should be drooling for a kid like him that can function like a Swiss Army Knife as he can do a lot on both ends of the floor.
Really enjoy watching this kid play. He has a motor and an old school feel as he can power move his way in the post but also use touch as well. Good mid to 15-foot range that s where he is really consistent. Makes strong moves to the rim and can spin and finish through contact. Sawyr has that D2 game. Could end up at an NJCAA school looking to build with a solid bigger 3-guard. He has a lot of potential and skill growth left in him.
Any school that ends up with Landen will really like that he is one of those hybrid wings that can do a little bit of work inside and out. He can stretch the floor but also do work in the paint. NWAC’s should be all over this kid.
Very under the radar prospect that needs to be taken seriously as a SG that can defend at the next level. D2, NJCAA type of skill right now but could continue to improve.
