Play By Play Classic: Standouts

Kevin plays winning basketball on both sides of the ball. And has two state championship rings to back that. He might be the shortest player on the court, but he has the loudest voice and the biggest impact on the floor. He's a great playmaker and made smart decisions while taking care of the ball down the stretch when facing a ton of pressure. What surprised me the most is how much of an efficient scorer he is despite his size. He had a 20-point outing versus national-ranked Sierra Canyon and followed that up with a 28 point performance the next night against a solid Princeton squad. No matter how contested his shot is, it's going to fall and that's been the theme every time I watch him play. Jackson has great size at the guard position and uses his height to his advantage by finishing through contact and shooting over defenders. Already holding mid major offers if Jackson continues to show why he's one of, if not the best shooter in all of Ohio. Receiving game mvp Dulguun was doing it all for his team. He's a very solid inside big and can finish with either hand, he's also showcased his midrange touch that just makes him even harder to defend. I also liked that he plays with 100% effort 100% of the time. Jesse showed exactly why he's a high level recruit. Coming in I knew he was a great finisher around the rim and could rebound at a high level. But I didn't know how solid of a shooter he is. He was able to knockdown a three and multiple pick and pops all night long. He's athletic enough to run down the floor throughout the game and showed disciplined defense and timely blocked shots. I've been to a few games and one thing stays consistent, he always gives 100% effort. Nick is not afraid to slide in and take a charge for his team, and is the perfect glue guy any small school should want. Outside of doing all the little things right that the boxscore might not show, he's also provides shooting from the outside. He's had a couple solid showings to begin his senior year. Nick will be a key factor to how far this loaded Olentangy Orange team goes.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
