17 points, 2-6 FT's, 1 triple. He got the scoring started for the Bruins from the FT-line. James is a versatile finisher that can do it all from every angle. On multiple occasions, Hamilton scored with his left hand in traffic. His "go-to" move when attacking seems to be the spin move. I love his aggressiveness on the O-glass. James had multiple O-boards and he scored on putbacks. He is also very good at converting with mid-range jumpers. Hamilton plays fast and furious and is very effective in transition. Big things are ahead for Mr. Hamilton.

William Lacher (2023) |6'1 G|

3 points, 3-5 FT's. He started and Lacher was good at drawing contact to get to the charity stripe. I liked his ability to get into the lane to make things happen.

[player_tooltip player_id='1359828' first='Cole' last='Kegbeh'] (2024) |6'3 F|

9 points, 3-6 FT's. He is an athlete that's for sure. Cole is big and strong. I liked his reaction time when swiping for the ball on D. His sneaky hands recorded a couple of steals. Kegbeh is physical on the glass and he scored multiple contested buckets.

[player_tooltip player_id='1400953' first='Dean' last='Grant'] (2023) |6'3 G/F|

9 points, 2-2 FT's, 1 triple. He has loads of potential as a scorer from multiple levels. Grant can spread the floor as a shooter. I liked the looks of his mid-lane pull-up to start the second half. As the season gets going, teams will need to account for Grant.

Reis Kessel (2023) |6'6 F|

11 points, 2-4 FT's, 1 triple. 10 of his points came in the first half. Kessel had some big buckets in the first half to keep the score close. Drew's 3-ball came from the left wing. He also looked good scoring in traffic. Kessel showed off a sweet pull-up off 2-dribbles. I liked how he fought for rebounds and gave extra effort. He is another Bruin to keep tabs on.

Drew Shambaugh (2023) |6'4 G|

3 points, 1 triple. His 3-ball came from the left wing and it was deep. I like how Shambaugh followed his own shot in the second half and secured an O-board for an extra possession. Drew has a long wingspan with potential.

33 points, 4-8 FT's, 7 triples. North does not win last night without Jeremiah's special performance. It was easy to see that Sem is an extreme athlete. You might have seen that with his high-flying dunk in the first half or his shot clock-beating triple against a double team. Sem had plenty of attention from defenders but he has no problem getting space for open looks. His killer step-back is next to impossible to stop. Sem is a special player that can take over a game without a moment's notice. Whenever Sem is on the court it is must-watch basketball!

[player_tooltip player_id='1144600' first='Carter' last='Zeller'] (2024) |6'5 F|

9 points 1-2 FT's. He was in early foul trouble and Zeller did his damage in the 2nd half. Carter posts up super hard and is not afraid to throw his muscle/weight around. When he gets the rock, Zeller is very patient and he waits for the D to react. He showed off his strength with an AND1 finish. He also produced on the O-glass. I love how Zeller stays on his feet and contests shots without fouling. Carter showed glimpses of why he is considered one of the best BIGs in ND. Look out for Zeller!

[player_tooltip player_id='1200249' first='Welcome' last='Muhoza'] (2023) |6'5 F|

6 points. He started and played good minutes. Welcome has potential as a defender. I like how he walled up at the rim and contested shots. He has good anticipation skills, Muhoza scored with an athletic O-board putback. He also produced with a slashing-n-score and with a short floater over the front of the rim. Welcome has a shooter's touch!

[player_tooltip player_id='1168182' first='David' last='Shilling'] (2024) |6'3 G|

4 points. Shilling was a starter and he looks to be an intriguing player. He made a few splashy plays. David is a long athlete that had a big swat in the second half to erase a shot. He also displayed his athletic ability with a dunk late in the game. Shilling is a player to keep eyes on as the season moves on.

[player_tooltip player_id='1167613' first='Eric' last='DeBoer'] (2025) |6'5 G|

3 points, 1 triple. His 3-ball came from the left corner in the first half. Eric has long arms and a smooth stroke.

Joe Rose (2024) |6'4 F|

5 points 1-2 FT's. I like his game. Rose is a physical and strong role player. Zeller had foul trouble in the first half and Joe played well in his absence. I liked how hard he posted up. He is certainly not afraid of contact. Joe showed off his hustle when diving on the floor for a loose ball. Rose looks to be an all-effort all-the-time type of player.

Ethan Welk (2024) |6'0 G|

3 points, 1 triple. His 3-ball came in the first half. Welk helped with the PG duties off the bench. Ethan has a good-looking jump shot.

[player_tooltip player_id='1167610' first='Matthew' last='Sem'] (2025) |6'1 G|

4 points. He sat much of the first half with foul trouble. Matthew did show a smooth mid-range jumper. When South challenged late in the game, the young Sem hit a jumper to help seal the deal.
