It has become a must for college coaches to stop by, and with all the talent it makes sense.
We will take a long look at the many standouts from the event, and here we look at part two of some of the standouts from the DC and Maryland schools.
If you’d like to see watch the replay of all the games, you can find them on the CBG Live Network.
Jaden Winston Jaden Winston 5'9" | PG DeMatha | 2023 State MD | 6’0” PG | DeMatha ’23
While DeMatha had a slow start dropping a close one to DeMatha, they were able to bounce back with a win over Archbishop Ryan (PA) and Winston was a huge reason why as he controlled the game and took over when it mattered. He’s a very high IQ guard who understands the game and puts himself and teammates in situations to succeed, he can create for himself and others off the bounce and is very shifty and he’s able to hit tough shots from multiple spots on the floor. In their win over Archbishop Ryan, he finished with 11 points and 3 assists leading a balanced attack.
Adam Fox Adam Fox 6'5" | SG DeMatha | 2023 State MD | 6’5” PF | DeMatha ’23
Fox was an unsung hero for DeMatha throughout the event, as the versatile 6’5” forward did a little bit of everything to help his team whether it was banging in the post or stepping away and taking bigs out on the perimeter for his driving guards. He played with a great motor and was physical on both ends of the floor, he made shots efficiently and he did a lot of little things like fighting for loose balls and boxing out well. He finished with 9 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists in their win over Ryan.
Carlton Carrington Carlton Carrington 6'4" | CG St. Frances | 2023 State #84 Nation MD | 6’6” WG | St. Frances ’23
While St. Frances had a lack luster showing against St. John’s, Carrington showed why he’s considered one of the top scorers in the Baltimore area and the Pittsburgh commit showed his versatile scoring ability. At 6’6” he’s able to handle the basketball and break down defenders in isolation situations to get to spots and score it, he’s a true three level scorer who can make tough shots from all over and he stays in attack mode and looks for his shot consistently. He finished with 21 points and 6 rebounds in their loss.
Jordan Downs | 6’4” WF | St. Frances ’24
Downs is the one in the starting lineup that may get forgotten at times, but he was very efficient as a shot maker and showed good toughness on the defensive end. He has a funky jumper but he’s a knock down shooter from deep, he’s strong enough to guard multiple positions and makes plays defensively and he plays with a good energy that much of the rest of the team was lacking. He finished with 14 points going 4-for-6 from deep and pitched in 3 steals too.
Tyler Jackson Tyler Jackson 6'2" | CG St. Frances | 2025 #40 Nation MD | 6’2” PG | St. Frances ’25
Jackson is quickly becoming one of the most sought after guards in the 2025 class, and while he didn’t play his best game you can see why coaches are so enamored with him. At 6’2” he isn’t the biggest guy but he’s quick and shifty off the bounce, he knows how to create space and can make tough shots and he plays much bigger than his size would make you think. He finished with 12 points and 8 rebounds in their loss.
