He's dangerous when he can get open. Barron hit three 3-pointers in a row late in the 2nd quarter to give the Wolfpack a 19-point lead at the break. All three buckets came from different areas of the floor. One was in the corner, the second was at the top of the key, and the third came from NBA range after breaking off a defender. He began the third quarter banking in an and-one and ended it with two smooth layups at the rim. Another and-one and 3-pointer gave him 26 points in the early 4th quarter.

The Junior combo-guard at St. Ignatius can really fly on the floor. He's an impressive ball handler who made a nice dribble-move to score at the first quarter buzzer. He also shot really well with a couple 3's. He had 10 points after the opening quarter. [player_tooltip player_id='1285517' first='Reggie' last='Ray'] stayed hot with a baseline floater early in the 2nd quarter. I also saw Ray make nice off-ball runs into the paint throughout the game. Later on, he became an excellent facilitator with numerous assists and feeds to help extend their lead. He's a player that shouldn't be taken lightly for opponents going forward.

Polonowski knocked down three of his first four 3-pointers in this game for 11 points after the first quarter. His ability to stretch the floor was impressive early on. He also drove the hoop and got a couple sneaky inside buckets to go in. Finished with 15 points as Lyons remains unbeaten.

[player_tooltip player_id='1215292' first='Graham' last='Smith'], Lyons 2023

Smith's had a massive presence inside for the Lions. He led them in scoring and rebounds and was the most consistent presence on the floor. His ability to attack the hoop and create 2nd chance opportunities was on display, as he accumulated 16 points in the paint and 6 offensive boards. Smith would add 5 defensive boards to his rebound total along with 3 steals and 3 assists.

Wolf's scoring outburst in the opening quarter game the Titans a big lead. He hit two outside shots to go along with a nice cut inside and a driving layup. He was probably the fastest player on the floor in their matchup with Rolling Meadows.

Sotirov was a big difference-maker for the Mustangs. He knocked down four 3-pointers in the third quarter to give Rolling Meadows a double-digit lead after trailing the entire first half. Sotirov is a 6'7" wing that can shoot and stretch the floor. He finished with 22 points and six 3's.

After a cold start, Christie exploded for a 28-point performance against Glenbrook South. Nothing seemed to have stopped him from hitting the bottom of the net. He hit almost all his shots from the field in the 2nd half.
