Continue ReadingThe 6’6 Senior provided a legit post presence for his team and was solid rebounding the ball on both ends of the floor. He does plenty of the small things such as setting strong screens and creating solid position for himself in the paint to allow guards to make a proper entry pass.
Highlights
Made a nice impact for his team rebounding the ball and using his three-point shooting ability to stretch the defense which allowed more room for his guards to operate. On Friday night as they were matched up with nationally ranked STAB, he found bodies to box out and showed some of the potential he has to make an impact on games on the boards as well as his scoring on the perimeter which are both traits that you love to see from a forward.

There is plenty to like about what he can potentially be, as he showed some flashes throughout the day in the matchup with Camden County. He runs the floor well, can be dominant on the boards and as an interior defender. The next step for him will be to increase his motor and stay locked in on both ends of the court but his potential to be special is clear.
A player that has a nice blend of speed, agility and strength, he understands how to use his physical tools to make a nice impact on games. He’s able to make plays in transition and get pass defenders off the dribble when his team is in half-court situation by using speed but what makes him even more valuable is the way he’s able to finish through contact and battle with taller opponents in the paint on both ends of the floor.

A raw prospect at this point but there is plenty to like about a freshman that stands at 6’10 and plays with a nice amount of energy. Offensively he is still finding his way on the court, but he doesn’t allow that to stop him from rebounding and blocking shots at a nice rate. He is definitely a player to keep a close eye on and he continues to improve over the next four years.
His stats may not impress you, but he impacts the game in numerous other ways that simply cannot be measured by statistics. He’s a 6’8 big man that embraces playing in the paint and doesn’t hesitate to use his frame to make plays. Setting strong screens, boxing out, battling for rebounds and attacking the rim were all things we saw from him.

His impact on the defensive side of the ball was clearly his greatest asset to his team, making things difficult for opponents on both days of the event. He has good lateral quickness, a long wingspan and does an outstanding job of timing shot attempts to come up with blocks without fouling.

Another raw prospect with legit size, he is a player that can develop into a nice prospect over the next two years if he continues to progress. He did plenty of the little things that you love to see a big man do such as running the floor, contesting shots and finishing above the rim.
