Eli Lusbey
If you paid attention to the Prep Hoops circuit, you’ve heard murmurs of the 6’6 forward playing with Spartans Elite. His production was steady, but you could tell he could produce more with more of a load. That’s exactly what he’s doing to start the season. He’s averaging 18.6 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game. His ability to bang on the block, score with finesse in the paint, flashes of vision and ball skills in space, and a nice below the rim offensive package a forward.

Martin’s been on my radar since the summer before his freshman year. The talent level and shotmaking have always been high. Just ask the former college players he’s played against over the years. His production is finally catching up with his output. The 2025 prospect is closer to 6’6 now and grabs boards like he would if he played in the post. He’s shooting well from everywhere but the foul line with careers high in points, rebounds, blocks, and steals to start his strawberry crest career. Track this one now. His stock will only go up from here.
Alex Sessoms
Sessoms is a 2024 prospect that I’ve had my eye on for a few months. The guard’s size, athleticism, and skill set are all there. His use of all three to produce this season makes him stand out. He creates transition opportunities, scores off the ball, and oozes potential.
Jalen Escontrias
Escontrias combination of shotmaking off the catch and dribble has impressed me this season. He’s connecting efficiently from volume attempts from deep. The unsigned senior can get to the lane and finish against contact. His passing instincts on the break and out of the pick and roll sell me on his position to operate in a backcourt at the next level.

Ducksworth took the leap I was expecting him to and more. He’s come back in better shape and has put muscle on his frame. The six foot combo guard is a free throw magnet. He plays with a level of physicality that most guards don’t. He has a killer midrange game, rebounds like a wing, and scores off the ball as a cutter. Ducksworth will have the film to convince someone to take a chance on his by the end of the year.
