The Boise State commit finished with 17 points, six rebounds and three assists in Vashon’s victory on Sunday. At 6-6, Davis Jr. has great vision, often finding his teammates on drive and kicks and is always willing to make the extra pass. Drilling two three’s in the 20-point victory, he can score on all three levels especially once getting to the paint – often finishing over stronger or taller defenders.
Highlights
If there was a definition of a team-first guy, it would be Jayden Nicholson. A big reason why Vashon pulled away over the second, the combo guard was all over the place on both ends of the floor throughout the second half. Possessing excellent basketball IQ with the ball in his hands, Nicholson can scope out the open man before the defense can even react.
Despite only being a freshman, Williams looked like a seasoned vet on Sunday. Despite the loss, Williams led the Newman offense with ease, showing flashes of brilliance and excellence vision with the ball in his hands. On top of this the floor general possesses a legit pull-up game especially from the mid range.
A Top 50 ranked player in the Class of 2025, the 6-2 guard was on another level in the second half against Link Academy where he scored 17 of his 26. Jackson has the ability to create offense in the blink of an eye, whether that be knocking down a contested three or dishing out a crosscourt dime. The sophomore guard has a deep ball-handling bag full of tricks, mixed with his blistering speed, he is a match-up nightmares for the opposition.
Cadeau made multiple winning plays down the stretch to lead Link in the close victory. Finishing with nine assists compared to just one turnover, the 6-1 guard tore up the Saint Frances defense over the second half. Mixed with his elite playmaking, Cadeau flashed his ability to create offense for himself as well off the dribble finishing with 12 points.
