12. Another one of the players that I enjoy watching play the game. Tremendous in transition. Has a long stride running the floor. Extremely quick first step. Uses his length and strength to muscle his way inside with speed. Excellent lift on his jumper. An outstanding rebounder off the wing for a guard, can start break and finish it.
11. Missed significant time last year, but he looks like he’s ready to roll this coming season. A player with great size but also is a very versatile player because of his skill set. Has a good stroke from the perimeter. Terrific at getting to the rim and finishing.
Highlights
10. (Pictured)He is at Christ the King. Son of a coach. Fundamentally sound player on both ends of the floor. Outstanding shooter. Can drain the three off the catch or the bounce. Possesses a nice shot fake and the quickness to get his shot off or get by his defender. Good lift and rotation on his jumper. Repeatable fluid motion every time.
9. As steady and poised as they come. As a freshman last year he basically ran the show with a lot of talented upperclassman around him it was his job to get them the ball and pick his spots to score. He did both with poise, confidence and a tremendous skill set. Outstanding shooter from three. Can get into the lane and score.
8. An outstanding defender. Uses his length to guard the ball. Quick hands and feet. He is as good as anybody blowing by his defender. Uses his long frame, ball handling skills and speed to finish at the rim. Excellent at splitting defenders and finding a teammate or scoring himself. Dynamic in the open floor. One summer event he was able to steal the ball from his opponent in the open floor and quickly turn that into a layup for himself. One of the nicer plays I’ve seen over the summer.
7. I’ve written about Josh so much I feel this is his autobiography. (Lol) But seriously from the first time I saw him and discussed with college coaches we have seen his growth. An outstanding three point shooter from the top of the key off a kick out. He now uses his handle to get off his own shot. Tremendous at getting to the rim with good body control. Outstanding rebounding guard. A player who’s been a big part of a lot of winning throughout his high school career.Has committed to Marist.
