I'd never heard of Barrett until Saturday. He went on a scoring tear in the first quarter with some tough inside buckets and a smooth jump shot. He extended his range for a three pointer later on and played tough defense throughout the game. He also displayed some excellent ball handling skills and got up and down the floor very quickly.

[player_tooltip player_id='939048' first='Keon' last='Alexander'], Bolingbrook, Sr

Alexander was a force in the paint. He has a solid frame with a nice vertical capable of blocking shots and throwing down dunks with authority. His interior play kept Bolingbrook in a tight game with 21st Century.

DJ Moss, 21st Century (IN), Sr

An unknown name before Saturday. Moss was a force in the paint with multiple blocks and several tough inside buckets to start. He even had a couple dunks. Later on, he extended his range with two 3's. He finished with 22 points.

Damarion Morris, Hyde Park, Sr

Morris has been an offensive beast for the Thunderbirds the past couple weeks. He can score from all three levels and isn't afraid to finish through contact. I also saw him pick up several nice assists throughout the game, and helped Hyde Park pull away from Romeoville in the 2nd half. He finished with 19 points

Baldwin frame and athleticism give him the most potential on this team. His long arms give him an advantage of snagging difficult rebounds and blocking shots. He had 12 points, 12 rebounds, and a block Saturday.

Cobb continues to shine for perspectives with his scoring, playmaking, and ball-handling abilities. He had 18 points and 7 assists in a nail-bitting 73-72 loss to Proviso East late Saturday night.

The 6'7” F for the Wolfpack has lots of potential that small schools should look out for. He's a strong lengthy forward who made excellent plays plays on both ends. He led Oswego East with 20 points with buckets from all over the floor.
