He’s not carved out a huge role yet but I wouldn’t be surprised to see him take over Cameron McClain’s starting position this time next year. Keep an eye on Keriawn in the future.
Highlights
Ratcliff is a smaller guard but he’s very scrappy and capable of getting up into opposing point guards and making them uncomfortable. Lemontae has already earned a decent sized role as a freshman and is a reliable three point shooter for a Madisonville team that shoots a lot of them.
As with most Lexington Catholic freshmen, Hank hasn’t seen the court much this year and won’t. But he’s a name to monitor in the future and could be the next Hudson Sparks Hudson Sparks 6’5″ | SF Lexington Catholic | 2023 State KY for the Knights as soon as next season.
Highlights
Another player who won’t see much if any varsity time this year, Zach is a name to file away for the future. Jordan has good size and is likely not done growing. I’m interested to see if he ends up assuming Mason Ritter Mason Ritter 6’8″ | C Bowling Green | 2024 State KY ‘s role for the Purples by the time he’s a Junior and Ritter is gone to college.
Gambrell, like Woodall, is going to be a freshman and JV contributor for the Knights this season with his sights set on fighting for a starting spot as a Sophomore. Jack is a smaller guard but has a good skill level and could be a difference maker for Catholic as soon as next season, depending on how things progress.
