We are roughly a couple weeks into the 2022-2023 high school basketball season. A lot of prospects are having stellar senior years and making a lot of noise. Here are a handful of prospects who have really stood out to us.

[player_tooltip player_id='1424106' first='Vincent' last='Garrett'] | 6'2 G | Lincoln High

Garretts improvement from not only last winter to this summer but this summer to this winter has been crazy. If you have watched a Links game this year you have probably witnessed how athletic he is. Very frequent high flyer as he is able to elevate and finish through and above the defense. Strong takes at the cup with purposeful dribbles. Loves his spin move and is always under control when he executes it. Can be a threat on the boards as well. He has proved himself to be one of the top prospects in his class.

[player_tooltip player_id='1306613' first='Christian' last='Winn'] | 6'5 G | Lincoln Northeast

Winn is one of the most under the radar Class A guys Nebraska has to offer. He proved to be a very promising guard as a junior but has really excelled in his senior year. He does a great job on his takes to the rim at decelerating on finishes and using his body to finish. Big time threat from deep, especially off the catch, with his quick catch and shoot. Utilizes his height and strength to body smaller guards and speed to get by forwards.

[player_tooltip player_id='1424110' first='Jonny' last='Puelz'] | 6'5 W | Lincoln Lutheran

Puelz is a very versatile prospect. 6'5 wing that can score it inside and out. Shoots it at a high clip from beyond the arc off the catch. Will shoot it off the bounce as well. Definitely a guy you need to get a hand in his face. Plays a very active wing role in the Warriors 1-3-1 as he tallies plenty of steals and tipped passes. With steals comes transition opportunities. Great vision in transition as he is quick to give it up if a teammate is leaking up the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='1236315' first='Hayden' last='Frank'] | 6'2 G | Malcolm

As of early, Frank has been one of Nebraska's top scorers to start the season, and he can score it in many different. He's a 3 level threat with the ability to knock down some tough shots. Can convert off the catch and off the bounce consistent from deep. Doesn't matter the footwork he consistently gets his feet set to knock down the shot. Strong slashing takes, can finish through or around, and he can dump off to the cutting player or backside block post. Very polished overall game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1300951' first='Brendyn' last='Ollendick'] | 6'2 G | Elkhorn Valley

Ollendick is a guard who can not only score the ball well but has tremendous vision. Has the ability to convert from beyond the arc and get to the cup and finish. What stands out to me is how he is able to deliver passes to his teammates in transition and in the half court set. High IQ vision with a little bit of flash. Defensively forces plenty of turnovers, averaging 4.4 steals a game, very active hands on the defensive end.
