[player_tooltip player_id='1242305' first='Michael' last='Green'] - Darlington HS

Green really patrolled the paint for the Falcons with long wingspan and willingness to alter and challenge shots on the defensive end of the floor. He runs the floor extremely well and showed some really good offensive production today by scoring 16 points in the win. Green must get stronger and tougher at times down the road and be willing to finish through contact.

[player_tooltip player_id='1672079' first='Zay' last='Brown'] - Cheraw HS

Brown really makes this Braves team from out top. Zay is recently coming off a big football season as a running back for the Braves. Brown really keeps the ball close to the vest and seems to play under control at all times. Brown finished with his left-hand quite easily at the bucket when he wasn't dropping threes from downtown. Zay at times would utilize a nice 1-2 dribble pull-up quite effortlessly. Brown finished with 18 points in the loss today.

[player_tooltip player_id='1672748' first='Joshua' last='McNeil'] - Hannah-Pamplico HS

McNeal was Johnny on the spot at times today for the Red Raiders when it came to making a play. He was constantly in position all day long when it came to crashing the glass, hitting an open jumper or just making a hustle play for the Red Raiders. McNeal showed really good shot selection and production on the day.

[player_tooltip player_id='1108825' first='Johnell' last='Sindab'] - Mullins HS

Sindab and the Auctioneers had no problems cruising in the second round to victory over Lamar HS. Johnell cruised to an easy 23 points while connecting on 4 three pointers. Sindab is geared to score the ball and can from all 3 levels on the floor. He really shows a good variety at times and a nice job of getting elevation up on his shot.

The Carolina Bad Boyz have had great success on the Grassroots Circuit over the past few summers. [player_tooltip player_id='865315' first='Deuce' last='Hudson'], [player_tooltip player_id='1162462' first='Darren' last='Lloyd'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1189807' first='Bryson' last='Graves'] all have been mainstays at the West Florence HS over the past few years. The trio just completed a great football season that fell short in the 3rd round of the playoffs. This off [player_tooltip player_id='1186674' first='Dominick' last='Jones'] decided to come over to West Florence HS from nearby Wilson HS. This foursome has won a lot of games over the years. Hudson scored 15 points while Graves and Jones each added 13 points apiece in the win.

Demetrius "Busta" Knox recently took over the reins at Marlboro County HS. Knox a former Bulldog player himself is a 2016 high school graduate of MCHS. This team of Bulldogs plays like there coach - tough and won't finish competing until that horn sounds. [player_tooltip player_id='1672080' first='Ralphier' last='Monroe'] a sophomore was a nice surprise today with his play and especially with his confidence on the floor vs West Florence HS. Monroe finished with 11 points while knocking down some three pointers from downtown. Keshawn Leach will bring some toughness to the party along with a "JYD" attitude around the paint. Leach did a good job of playing around the paint and crashing the glass. [player_tooltip player_id='1457946' first='Braylon' last='Barfield'] showed some good flashes at times tonight for the Bulldogs. Barfield a slender-sleek forward likes to play out on the perimeter for the Bulldogs.

Looking back at my notes this evening I really can't remember [player_tooltip player_id='1672082' first='Tomisaac' last='Newkirk'] not taking anything but a 3-pointer every time he shot it tonight for the Stallions. Newkirk finished with 15 points while connecting on 5 three pointers from downtown. Tomisaac really does a good job of elevating up on his shot and performing a 1 dribble-pullup at times. Newkirk and the Stallions might live by the 3-ball this season.
