for the first time during the Scholastic Period this June and instantly loved what I saw. He plays for Marlboro County High School in 3A Region 5. Monroe averaged 8.8 Points Per Game in his Junior Year but I think he should be a double-digit scorer for certain this year. Ralphier is a wing with great athleticism and a very long frame. He is stronger than he appears and can finish through contact or pull up off the dribble in the mid-range. Most of what I have seen Monroe do on offense is with the ball in his hands, but his skill in knocking down jump shots would contribute to him being playable as a 2 or a 3 in College.

Monroe is looking to have a breakout season for the Bulldogs over in the Pee Dee. Ralphier plays in Bennettsville for Head Coach Busta Knox.
Monroe is a long and rangy wing who has seemed to grow a bit in the past year. Ralphier really likes to have the rock in his hands and making plays off the dribble. Look for his numbers to improve this season after averaging 8.8 ppg last year for the Bulldogs (13-10).

is a talented Wing who made some exciting plays for Marlboro County this weekend at the Francis Marion Team Camp. It started early with a pull-up three followed by a coast-to-coast transition dunk a couple of possessions later and turned into a 19-Point, 9-Rebound stat line in a win over Heathwood Hall. Ralphier has the ball in his hands often for his team, forced to create scoring chances for himself and his teammates off the dribble. He has a good handle and sees the floor well but is best in attack mode, finishing at the rim or finding space for his floater or mid-range jump shot off the bounce.

Monroe has seemed to grow a bit since we have seen him play last. Ralphier is a slender-sleek athlete who doesn’t mind chatting it up from time to time on the floor. Monroe has good length and versatility at times to handle the rock up the floor for the Bulldogs. He was able to collect a few jumpers here today while also making some tough contested shots. Ralphier is a bit of unknown to many outside the Pee Dee area of the Palmetto State.

Mr. Monroe sure doesn’t lack any confidence for his age. Ralphier wants to score the ball and take a big shot when needed for the Bulldogs. He has good range on his shot from downtown behind the 3-point line. Monroe has good length where he can be active in the passing lanes picking up deflections along the way. Ralphier plays over in the Pee Dee area in Bennettsville near the North Carolina/South Carolina border.
