Landon Key Landon Key 6'4" | SF Wisconsin Lutheran | 2023 State WI — SF — Wisconsin Lutheran
Wisconsin Lutheran has lofty expectations this season. There is no doubt that WL has assembled one of the most talented squads in the state. If Lutheran is to make a deep run this March, expect Key to be a major reason for his squad’s success. On Tuesday, the small forward got his season off to a great start. He was able to tally 22 points on an efficient 8-12 shooting. Keep an eye out for Key this season.
Cody Schmitz Cody Schmitz 6'4" | SG Gale Ettrick-Trempeleau | 2024 State WI — SG — G.E.T
Schmitz picked up where he left off. After putting up eye-popping numbers last season, the shooting guard has set expectations extremely high. On Tuesday, he was able to live up to these lofty expectations. The shooting guard tallied an impressive 30 points for his squad in a win. As a scorer, Schmitz is poised to give opposing defenders fits. He is a true three-level threat who can score in many different ways.
Jack Jacquat — F — Plymouth
Opening the season on a positive note, Jacquat was able to score 23 points for Plymouth in a win on Tuesday night. The 6-foot-7 forward hasn’t cracked the 2024 class rankings yet. However, if he continues to play at a high level, it is only a matter of time until his stock rises significantly.
Luke LeMoine — F — Marshfield
LeMoine could be a sleeper prospect to keep an eye out for this season. On Tuesday night, the Marshfield forward put up an extremely efficient 16 points in a win. From the field, LeMoine shot 8-9, his only miss being a three-point attempt. LeMoine has certainly caught my attention, and I look forward to watching him the rest of this winter.
Prentice Young Prentice Young 6'4" | CG Wisconsin Lutheran | 2023 State #273 Nation WI — PG — Wisconsin Lutheran
Young has become one of my favorite prospects to watch in the entire state. The point guard is a true two-way player. He can lock down the opposing team’s best player while also putting up impressive scoring numbers. On Tuesday, Young got his senior season off to a great start. He scored 20 points for Wisconsin Lutheran in a win.
Trey Keller Trey Keller 6'1" Kohler | 2024 WI — G — Kohler
Maybe one of the most underrated shooters in the state, Keller played like he had a point to prove on Tuesday. In a high-scoring affair, Keller led Kohler to victory by scoring 25 points. College programs should certainly keep a close eye on Keller moving forward.
Collin Madson Collin Madson 6'4" | PG Mukwonago | 2023 State WI — PG — Mukwonago
Madson is a prospect who I am very excited to watch this season. The point guard has established himself as one of the better floor generals in the state. On Tuesday, Madson was incredible. He scored 29 points on 9-11 shooting in a ten-point win for his squad.
