Section One. Senior [player_tooltip player_id='1221146' first='Jake' last='Hallstrom'] of Kasson-Mantorville. Jake might be the best shooter in Minnesota that you don't know about. He's a 6'3 wing that shot 41 percent from the arc last year and doubled that number for his foul shooting number (82 percent). Scored a dozen points a game last season and is a good guard rebounder.

Section Two. Senior Omar Abdi of Marshall. The Tigers should be back contending in Section 2AAA and Abdi - along with [player_tooltip player_id='1226398' first='Andrew' last='Elton'] - should lead the way. Abdi is an excellent defender and he scored going at the rim four times a game last season. A physically impressive wing that plays hard.

Section Three. Senior Carson Christiansen of Two Rivers. Carson was an honorable mention honored 6'2 guard from the Metro East conference who scored ten points a game. Carson has a quickness to his attack game from the wing that teams had a tough time moving with. Good passer and a good shooter.

Section Four. Seniors [player_tooltip player_id='1430801' first='Cole' last='Armitage'] and AJ McCleery of Mahtomedi. We felt now was a good time to again put a spotlight on the two Zephyrs who are returning all league honored six/seven bucket a game guys. Mahtomedi is a top five Class AAA team and they have a ton of depth to their senior class. People know [player_tooltip player_id='1221176' first='Owen' last='Carlson'] and [player_tooltip player_id='962216' first='Will' last='Underwood'] but Armitage and McCleery are also huge reasons for the big expectations. Cole is a really good shooter while AJ attacks more and both can defend. And while we are at it, Javan Harvey is another quality senior returning starter for the team.

Section Five. Senior [player_tooltip player_id='1625007' first='Julias' last='Hendricks'] of Becker. We have high expectations for Becker this year and Julias is another reason. Hendricks is a hard working double figure scoring guard at 6'4 that has really good separation handles and a solid touch. At his size as a guard he is a prospect to keep an eye on.

Section Six. Senior [player_tooltip player_id='1221149' first='Tajon' last='Pearson'] of Bloomington Kennedy. Pearson is a speedy 5'8 guard that gets past the first defender and can create for others or score on a late arriving defense. Tajon scored eight points a game last season while dishing out four assists a game.

Section Seven. Senior Marco Mayorga of Cloquet. Marco is an undersized big that is the king of craft. He averaged a dozen points a game last season with eight boards a contest and did it with intelligence. He used fakes, spins, and great footwork to find space. Can stretch the D a bit too.

Section Eight. Senior [player_tooltip player_id='1225628' first='Beau' last='Thoma'] of Little Falls. At 6'2 Beau is a returning all conference player for Little Falls. Last year Beau gave his team 12.7 points, 6.6 boards, 2.5 assists, and nearly two steals a game. Great rebounding guard that can lead the transition and does a great job getting to the rim to make plays.
