Season Preview: The Preseason All-State Team for Class 2A

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The preseason all-state team for Class 2A was a hard one to select. There are a lot of the top players in the state in this class along with some other really good players. Nevertheless, we feel the ten players on this preseason list will be players that will have phenomenal basketball seasons for their respective schools. He will be looking to add another state championship along with solidifying himself as the best player in his class. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1159181' first='Trey'dez' last='Green']</strong> is the best tight end in the state and the top power forward in his class. Nobody has a motor like his and he has the ability to dominate on both ends of the floor. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1213680' first='Jordan' last='Trahan'] </strong>is an uber-athletic wing who is a terror in transition. He also has an all-around game that will allow him to play well at home or on the road. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1213565' first='Cameron' last='Smith']</strong> is the lead guard on a Rayville team that should be one of the best teams in Class 2A non-select. He was an all-state honorable mention player at the end of last season and will be one of northeast Louisiana's top players. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1213753' first='Shad' last='Levy']</strong> grew a lot over the summer offensively and is now a threat from all levels. He knows how to run the point and he can score when necessary. His teammate<strong> [player_tooltip player_id='1105540' first='Todd' last='Jones']</strong> is one of the most skilled forwards in Louisiana. He is a rim protector that can run the floor and he can score from either block. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1130797' first='Kameron' last='Kennon']</strong> will have the freedom to take any shot he likes within the Calvary Baptist offense. Coach Morris usually does a good job at giving his top player the green light and Kennon will be the beneficiary. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1218214' first='Andre' last='Sowell']</strong> has shown glimpses of what he is capable of offensively the first two years at Lakeview. Now, in his junior season, he should put it all together to be one of the better offensive players in the class. [player_tooltip player_id='1454945' first='Draven' last='Smith'] is a player who has a well-developed offensive game. He just does not get to show it. This season, he will give the class, and his opponents, a full display of his offensive repertoire. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>From north to south, Class 2A has a plethora of players who will showcase their talents on the hardwood.
