Season Preview: Boone County

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Russ Day Jamboree at Bourbon County High School allowed many coaches to get a first look at their teams against other competition. It was a great day of basketball to get the chance to see some schools for the first time this year.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Outlook</strong> – Boone County doesn't have a ton of size but they do have speed. They want to get in an up tempo game led by Williams and try to attack the basket. At his best when the game is uptempo and gets to play in transition. Capable shooter, had an impressive pull-up from the elbow. Good 3pt shooter when given time and space but also has the ability to finish at the rim. Made a couple crafty finishes that were impressive. Plays with a motor and good crashing the offensive glass from the perimeter. Very physical driver that looks to initiate contact. His shot wasn't falling but has a good looking shot. At his best attacking the basket.
