On the heels of multi-team postseason success, the conference will likely be able to replicate that success again with plenty of teams on paper looking like contenders.
(Lake Division)
Sandusky– The Blue Streaks on paper had a very solid group last year and were one of the conference’s best teams hands down.

(Sr). The sharpshooting guard is one of the better offensive weapons and was part of a team that was District Runner-Up last year. But that was Division II and had their next 2 best guys with them. Beaston by himself is going to struggle now that the Tornados are in Division I, but they’ll still be very good in the division.
Bellevue– The Redmen very under .500 last year but are returning a lot of their top guys from that team. Tyler Ray (Sr) was the top guy a year ago and has Ashton Martin (Jr) and Jackson Martin Jackson Martin 6'3" | SF Bellevue | 2024 OH (Jr) both returning alongside him. Expect a good season for the Redmen.
After these 3, the next 3 spots are totally wide open. Norwalk is always a tough program, but will look a little different without Ian Minor from a year ago. Clyde graduates all of their top end talent and could be a young team. Perkins only won 6 games last year but has Jayden Rowe (Sr) coming back for another season. They could jump both previously mentioned teams for that #4 spot.
(Bay Division)
Appears to be a 3-team race between Huron, Port Clinton and Willard. Huron is moving down to Division III after finishing as Regional Semifinalist in Division II last year. The Tigers will have arguably the best player in the conference in

(Jr). The Redskins will be a challenger from a standpoint of having some size to go at Huron. Willard moves up to Division II after spending some time in Division III previously. The Flashes return a good junior class and could be a year away. I like Max Dawson (Jr) and Cam Robinson (Jr) both for these guys. Margaretta was a Regional Semifinalist in Division IV last year, but lose a fantastic guard in Jake Leibacher. Now the Polar Bears are in Division III and will have Hayden Wiley (Sr) back for the year. I wouldn’t expect Margaretta however to be one of the top teams again. Oak Harbor will be led by a young guy in

(So) and could be a few years away from making strides. Vermilion and Milan Edison will again struggle against the rest of the division.
(River Division)
This division is far more open as there isn’t many elite teams. Hopewell-Loudon is likely the favorite as they have a good group of juniors led by Evan Kreais and

. Old Fort and Tiffin Calvert both were District qualifying teams, but lose almost all of their production. The rest of the division is up for grabs as none of the remaining teams are bringing back top players.
