If you want a player who does all the little things right, Preston is your guy. Matched up with a way bigger player, Preston still found a way to make an impact on the game. I saw him direct traffic and tell a teammate to cut which led to an easy two. He plays with a high motor and embraces contact at the rim. He's a very solid defender in the paint, going against a kid who's 6'7 Preston took him out the game with early boxout positioning and maximum effort non stop. Preston is the ideal player you would want on a championship level team, and he will play a huge part on the Nubians run back to the state final four.

Without a doubt one of the more under the radar recruits Columbus has to offer. Standing at 6'4 with a lengthy thinner build, Reggie has all the tools to develop into a really solid offensive player. He showed flashes of what he can do offensively, making tough pull up jumpers and finishing through contact Reggie was able to score on all three levels efficiently. He was on his way to score over 20 if the games were full length. I'm intrigued to see how this young player develops over the course of his high school years.

Jaiden was really feeling it against defending division III state champs Cincinnati Taft. Jaiden is a very balanced and efficient scorer. He was scoring all over the place, displaying a smooth jump shot he was able to knock down a handful of three's and pull up jump shots. The two sport athlete will be one of the top scorers on his team, and is the perfect player to help relief pressure from [player_tooltip player_id='1432005' first='Arness' last='Lawson'] this season.

This was my second time getting a look at Hudson and he continued to impress. Hudson is a lights out shooter and is capable of hitting shots a few feet beyond the three point line. He's just not a shooter, he has a really well rounded scoring attack and is explosive enough to take defenders to the hoop. Playing for the defending division III state champions, Hudson will be relied on heavily and is a D2 scholarship player coaches should look out for.
