This past weekend, the Halloween Hoopfest took place in a couple of different locations including St Bernard High School, St Monica High School and Redondo Union High School. I was able to attend the Friday slate of games at St Bernard and here's a look at some of the top point guards I saw.

1. Joey Chammaa - SoCal Academy Black 2023

Chammaa was one of the more complete point guards at the event. He knows when to look for his shot and knows when to pass the ball. He may not be that tall compared to other guards but it doesn't effect his game at all. He's comfortable putting the ball on the floor and making plays in the halfcourt. Runs the break well too. 4. Aaron Butler - Compton Dominguez 2023

Butler was a solid floor leader. Good ball-handler who does well in the pick and roll finding his screeners diving to the rim. He pushes the pace well in transition and keeps the defense on its heels.
