Below is a rundown of five more 2023 prospects from southeastern Pennsylvania who recently committed to play college ball.
Matthew Field – 6’7” / Post Grad / Hill School / Durham Hurricanes / Wing: As a senior at Cardinal Gibbins (NC) Field averaged 11 points and 6 boards per game. This past spring, he transferred to Hill and immediately turned heads at the MAIS Showcase. Field can shoot the three-ball from deep (44% last season). Plus, his constant off ball movement makes him extremely difficult to guard. Field owns excellent court vision, so he can recognize a double team quickly and pass out of it. Committed to Ursinus College (D3)
Carson Howard Carson Howard 6'7" | PF Archbishop Wood | 2023 State PA – 6’7” / Senior / Archbishop Wood / Team Final / Power Forward: One of the premier offensive rebounders in the region, Howard averaged 9.4 points along with 8.8 rebounds per game while shooting 54% from the field last season. Howard (2nd Team All-PCL selection) is also a solid pick-n-roll / pick-n-pop player. His mid-range jumper has developed into a solid weapon. Howard is committed to East Stroudsburg University (D2).
Izaiah Pasha Izaiah Pasha 6'4" | CG Cardinal O'Hara | 2023 State PA – 6’4″ / Senior / Cardinal O’Hara / Philly Pride National / Combo Guard: Pasha recently committed to Iona and their staff must be ecstatic, because Pasha is rated as a high DI talent. In 2021-22 this downhill style guard averaged 17 pts, 6.8 rebs, and 3.7 dimes per game. Pasha was a 1st Team All-PCL selection as well as the Delaware County POY. Pasha’s ridiculous pace and creative handles exhaust opponents. Once at the rim, he can finish with either hand. Pasha can also shoot threes and distribute.
Seamus Rogers – 6’2 / Senior / Archbishop Carroll / PSB Philly-Ferrick / Combo Guard: Rogers is a gifted three level scoring talent with a college ready physique. In addition to scoring, Rogers can use his dribble drive skills to draw the help defense and then distribute to teammates. At the other end, Rogers’ lateral quickness and physicality enable him to supply lock down defense. Rogers is committed to Susquehanna University (D3)
Earle Greer Jr Earle Greer Jr 6'7" | SF Rocktop Academy | 2023 State PA – 6’6” / Senior / Abington Friends / Philly Pride National / Wing: The coaching staff at Rider University is white hot. West-Ingram’s commitment to the Broncos marks the third 2023 SEPA prospect with “Power 6” talent that Rider has landed. West-Ingram is an athletic, slashing style wing who thrives in transition. The recent improvement in his shooting and dribble pull ups skills has been a tremendous development. As a bonus, West-Ingram is a plus player on defense, blocking shots and slicing through passing lanes for steals.
