We have a full slate of games this evening featuring some excellent matchups throughout the state. Prep Hoops Indiana will be covering the highly anticipated Top 5 matchup between Fishers and Ben Davis, but there are plenty of other games you will want to follow this evening as well. Let's take a look at the five best games around the state on Tuesday night.

Ben Davis @ Fishers

It doesn't get much bigger than two Top 5 teams in Class 4A tipping their seasons off with each other. Unfortunately, after tonight, one of these great teams will be 0-1. Ben Davis enters this season with as high of expectations as anyone in the state. Their roster is loaded with all of the pieces you would need for a potential run at a state championship. Fishers will feature sophomore sensation [player_tooltip player_id='1297052' first='Jalen' last='Haralson'] along with the debut of junior [player_tooltip player_id='2079500' first='Keenan' last='Garner'] who moved in from Germany. A matchup to watch in this one will be Ben Davis senior point guard [player_tooltip player_id='1273713' first='Sheridan' last='Sharp'] going up against Fishers sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1525664' first='Jonanthony' last='Hall']. These two are elite athletes with next-level explosiveness and will be fun to watch go at it on both ends of the floor. The Giants also return 6'9" Valparaiso commit [player_tooltip player_id='1042497' first='Zane' last='Doughty'] who averaged a double-double last season and will be a force around the basket once again as a senior. [player_tooltip player_id='1160716' first='Clay' last='Butler'], [player_tooltip player_id='1158204' first='K.J.' last='Windham'], and [player_tooltip player_id='1273740' first='Shaun' last='Arnold'] will likely round out the Ben Davis starting lineup. Meanwhile, look for Marion transfer [player_tooltip player_id='1578471' first='Taden' last='Metzger'] to make a big impact for the Tigers tonight.

Fishers High School is absolutely the place to be this evening. Per the Prep Hoops Indiana preseason polls, Ben Davis is #2 in Class 4A while the Tigers check it at #4. Both teams are loaded with talent and future college players. We will be in attendance bringing you updates throughout the game if you are not able to attend.

Fort Wayne North Side @ Cathedral

The defending Class 4A state champions, and preseason #1 team, are back in action tonight as Cathedral plays host to North Side. 6'11" 5-star forward [player_tooltip player_id='868219' first='Xavier' last='Booker'], a Michigan State signee, is the man to watch in this one as the #1 player in the country according to Rivals. The Irish also return 6'6" wing [player_tooltip player_id='868251' first='Jake' last='Davis'] who is committed to Mercer and 6'4" wing [player_tooltip player_id='868252' first='Jaron' last='Tibbs'] who will play football at Purdue. There still has yet to be official word on the eligibility of Portage transfer [player_tooltip player_id='868227' first='Kamari' last='Slaughter'], but we will certainly report on that as soon as we can this evening. Look for Cathedral's sophomore class to step up and take over larger roles this season as well. 6'6" lefty [player_tooltip player_id='1525663' first='Brady' last='Koehler'] and guards [player_tooltip player_id='1297015' first='Deric' last='Cannady'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1297083' first='Lebron' last='Gough'] will all factor into the Irish rotation.

As for North Side, they have plenty of talent in their own right. [player_tooltip player_id='1158178' first='Brauntae' last='Johnson'] is the primary prospect to watch. One of the top football players in the state, the 6'3" junior is also and elite player on the hardwood. Johnson averaged 18.8 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game as a sophomore. Seniors [player_tooltip player_id='1049163' first='Jordan' last='Green'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1042492' first='Brashawn' last='Bassett'] are returning contributors to watch for as well. Two newer names to follow that should make major impacts are [player_tooltip player_id='1578389' first='Eugene' last='Young Jr']. and [player_tooltip player_id='1547392' first='Jaxson' last='Fugate'].

Gary 21st Century @ Tindley

Tindley has lost a lot of talent, but freshman phenom [player_tooltip player_id='1560945' first='Dezhon' last='Hall'] will be making his Indiana High School Basketball debut this evening. It will be fun watching him go against another super dynamic guard in senior [player_tooltip player_id='868220' first='Ashton' last='Williamson']. Gary 21st Century, who is ranked #4 in the Class 2A preseason poll by Prep Hoops Indiana, also features senior wings [player_tooltip player_id='1042493' first='D.J.' last='Moss'] and Quentin Floyd who have been long-time contributors for the Cougars.

Loogootee @ North Daviess

If you prefer small school basketball, this will be one of the best matchups of the season for you. Class 1A defending state champion North Daviess is now competing in Class 3A, but still enters the season ranked #7 by Prep Hoops Indiana. They will feature Oakland City commit [player_tooltip player_id='935727' first='Jaylen' last='Mullen'] along with twins [player_tooltip player_id='1556399' first='Lance' last='Wilson'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1556400' first='Logan' last='Wilson']. Loogootee comes in ranked #2 in Class 1A and will get a crack at their former Sectional 56 foe on opening night. High-score lefty guard [player_tooltip player_id='868254' first='Peyton' last='Bledsoe'] will lead the Lions as they try to make a statement against their rival. This game last season was won by the Cougars 41-36.

Zionsville @ Carmel

Another Top 10 Class 4A matchup will be happening on the north side this evening if you want something besides Fishers vs. Ben Davis. Preseason #3 ranked Zionsville travels to #7 Carmel in a matchup between Sectional 8 opponents. Indiana Mr. Basketball candidate [player_tooltip player_id='868255' first='Logan' last='Imes'], a Penn State signee, leads the way for Zionsville along with 6'9" Charlotte signee [player_tooltip player_id='868244' first='Nick' last='Richart']. Those two makeup arguably the best inside-outside duo in the state this season. As for the Greyhounds, 6'8" Belmont pledge [player_tooltip player_id='1042491' first='Sam' last='Orme'] is ready to take on a go-to role as a senior. He will have solid talent around him as well with seniors [player_tooltip player_id='868225' first='Spencer' last='White'] and [player_tooltip player_id='935725' first='Jared' last='Bonds'] plus sophomore guard [player_tooltip player_id='1578342' first='Alex' last='Couto'].
