As a Freshman last season, Sawyer led all 2025s in the state in scoring and has worked to become more of a complete playmaker and not just a pure scorer. Thompson has a full package of scoring weapons at his disposal and can be a good defender when he wants to be. Look for him to be among the leading scorers in Kentucky this season.
Highlights
Cooper is a lights out shooter who has continued to add to his overall game as he’s gotten older. Davenport has improved off the bounce and continues to become more comfortable as a playmaker with the ball in his hands. Look for him to surprise some people in the second region this season.
A multi-sport athlete for Douglass, Chenault is one of the better athletes you’ll see in Lexington and excels in every sport he plays. On the court, Aveion has the tools to be a lockdown defender and has the quick first step to get past defenders and get to the rim. Look for Chenault to help lead the youth movement at Douglass this season.
One of the quicker guards in the Lexington area, Dunn has a really good first step on offense and does a little bit of everything to stuff the stat sheet for his Bryan Station team. Ethan has the ability to pressure the basketball for 94 feet and works to turn opponents over with his quickness and good hands.
Highlights
Osborne is one of the top Class A players in the Sophomore class and could play a big role on any team in the 5th region. After averaging double digits last season, look for Nick to close in on 15+ points per game this year as he becomes more of a threat from deep after struggling to make threes last season.
