Chazz Dubois Chazz Dubois 6'5" | SF Hudson Catholic | 2025 TX , 6’5 SF Hudson Catholic
The Hawks are one of the teams to watch in North Jersey this season and Dubois has a chance to breakout this season. The 6’5 wing has a good handle, which he uses to beat his defender off the bounce and is a good finisher around the basket. Dubois is more than just a slasher as he has a nice release on his jumper and is unafraid of taking big shots. He is a solid rebounder and has the length to defend multiple positions on the floor. Dubois will get more touches on the offensive end this season, which should help him have a big 2022-23 season.
Declan Wucherpfennig Declan Wucherpfennig 6'7" | PF Bergen Catholic | 2025 State NJ , 6’5 PF Bergen Catholic
Wucherpfennig is a breakout contender to watch in the class as he does a bunch of different things on the floor. The 6’5 forward has a good faceup game as he can put the ball on the floor and knock down jumpers on the perimeter. Wucherpfennig runs the floor hard and is capable of finishing through contact. He works hard on the glass and is an underrated passer. Wucherpfennig’s ability to play on the perimeter and in the post is something that will help his stock this season for Bergen Catholic.
AJ Altobelli AJ Altobelli 5'11" | PG Union Catholic | 2025 State NJ , 5’11 PG Union Catholic
The Vikings should make some noise this season and Altobelli will be the one running the offense. The 5’11 lead guard plays with confidence with the ball in his hands and does not get rattled by on-ball pressure. Altobelli can finish in a variety of ways around the basket and is unafraid of contact. He knows how to get his teammates involved in the half court and moves his feet well on the defensive end. Altobelli will be one to watch this season as he is looking to lead the Vikings deep in the state tournament.
Everett Barnes Everett Barnes 6'9" | C Father Judge | 2025 State PA , 6’8 C Burlington City
Barnes had a solid freshman season for the Blue Devils and will be one to watch in the BCSL. The 6’8 post catches almost everything thrown his way and has a nice touch around the basket. Barnes sets good screens in the half court and has a nice release on his free throws. He is tough to box out on both ends of the floor and uses his length to influence shots on the defensive end. Barnes is just starting to scratch the surface of his potential and will only get better as the season moves on.
Kaleb Johnson Kaleb Johnson 6'0" | CG Union City | 2025 State NJ , 6’0 CG Union City
Johnson made plays for the Eagles during his freshman season and will continue to make them in 2022-23. The 6’0 guard is at his best attacking the basket as he knows how to finish around the basket and does not mind drawing contact in the paint. Johnson has a good release on his jumper and shoots the ball with confidence from the perimeter. He is capable of running the offense in a pinch and gets deflections on the defensive end. Johnson is a two-way guard prospect who will have the ball in his hands more for Union City this season.
