Alex Riddick Alex Riddick 6'6" | PF Grandview | 2024 State CO – Grandview
Alex Riddick Alex Riddick 6'6" | PF Grandview | 2024 State CO had one of the biggest jumps moving from 46 up to number 18. Alex is a lengthy power forward who makes his impact known on both ends of the floor. Defensively Alex is one of the best rim protectors in the class and has good footspeed allowing him to switch onto wings. He has become more fluid and confident as an athlete, and being a more assertive finisher has allowed him to finish above the rim. Alex is a solid screen setter and a good roller to the rim making him a good lob threat. Alex is a high-potential athlete who could keep moving up the rankings.
Kyree Polk – Vista PEAK Prep
Kyree Polk made a huge leap up the rankings starting at 85 and moving to 30. Kyree came off an injury this past winter and suited up for the AAU season and has improved a ton ever since. Standing at 6’9 with a broad frame, Kyree is the biggest player in the class. Down low he has improved his footwork and can get to post hooks with ease. He takes up a lot of space down low allowing him to be a good rebounder, especially offensively he can get tip-ins. From the mid-range, he has a solid jumper that he can shoot over smaller defenders.
Mac Terry Mac Terry 6'4" | CG Rock Canyon | 2024 State CO – Rock Canyon
Mac Terry Mac Terry 6'4" | CG Rock Canyon | 2024 State CO is a big shooting guard who has a knockdown jumper and a versatile game. He moved from spot 24 to 16. Mac uses his size and good effort to be a good rebounder for a guard. He does a good job coming off of screens and getting his feet set for jumpers. Mac is a good cutter who can finish through contact around the rim. He is a good team player who gets teammates involved and does the dirty work like rebounding. I am interested to see what type of role Mac will have with a Rock Canyon team coming into the year with high expectations
Tanner Widic Tanner Widic 6'0" | PG Mesa Ridge | 2024 State CO – Mesa Ridge
Tanner Widic Tanner Widic 6'0" | PG Mesa Ridge | 2024 State CO is a big combo guard with a smooth handle on the ball. He moved from 33 to 20. Tanner can effectively play with or without the ball in his hands due to his knockdown catch and shoot three-point shot. With the ball in his hands, he has a nice wrap-around behind the back dribble and has good vision allowing him to find open teammates. Tanner does a good job of pushing the tempo of the game as he has good stamina allowing him to run the full court all game.
