18) Jarrett Jardine Jarrett Jardine 6'0" | PG Meridian | 2025 State VA | 6’0” PG | Meridian (#37 Overall)
Jardine is set to have a breakout sophomore season at Meridian this year with him becoming a much more focal point of the offense. He’s going to be the primary ball handler and with his quickness and ability to touch the paint he can make plays for others, he is a very good defender who guards the ball well and it will be interesting to see how he improves moving forward.
17) Howard Casterlow Howard Casterlow 5'9" | PG Nansemond-Suffolk | 2025 State VA | 5’9” PG | Nansemond-Suffolk (#36 Overall)
A natural athlete who is a dual sport star on the basketball court and the football court, Casterlow will have the ball in his hands this year and a chance to be one of the top young guards in the 757. He has great speed and the ability to change directions well with the ball in his hands, he can get in the paint as a finisher and a distributor and he’ll set the tone on both ends of the floor.
16) Sonny Bridges Sonny Bridges 5'10" | PG St. Christopher's | 2025 State VA | 5’10” PG | St. Chris (#35 Overall)
Bridges is a great rotational piece for St. Chris who should have more opportunities this year whether he’s playing on the ball or off the ball. He’s a gritty defender who has great instincts and gets his hands on the ball a lot, he can score the ball efficiently from different levels on the floor whether it’s on the catch or off the bounce and he has an all-out style that makes plays on both ends of the floor.
15) Everett Jones Everett Jones 6'2" | PG Flint Hill | 2025 State VA | 6’2” PG | Flint Hill (#33 Overall)
Jones played a decent role for Flint Hill as a freshman and should see more of a chance to play with the ball in his hands this year, and he’ll have plenty of other scorers to play alongside him. The 6’2” guard already has good size on the perimeter, he can get in the paint and is a good playmaker, he can score it when he needs to and he’s good at controlling the tempo as well.
14) Kassidy Jackson Kassidy Jackson 5'9" | PG Green Run | 2025 State VA | 5’9” PG | Green Run (#29 Overall)
Jackson is one of a number of talented young guards in the 757, and after starting his freshman season at Green Run he showed a lot of potential moving forward and a lot of natural ability. The 5’9” guard is a quick twitch athlete with a lightning quick first step, he guards the ball very well and makes ball handlers uncomfortable and he can score it around the rim and in the midrange well.
13) Cy Hardy Cy Hardy 5'11" | PG Nortide | 2025 State VA | 5’11” PG | Northside (#28 Overall)
Hardy should move well up this list at our next rankings update, as the guard from Roanoke had a huge showing at the Prep Hoops Top 250 Expo and he should have a huge sophomore season this year. He’s a naturally gifted guard with a great skillset off the bounce as a scorer and a distributor, he has a quick first step and he has a tight handle off the bounce allowing him to create in isolation situations and he can score the ball from many different spots on the floor.
