Logan Meneffe 2025 6’8 Ridgepoint High School

Logan is a highly skilled big man with an ability to slash, catch and shoot, and protect the rim. His natural rim protecting instincts were very impressive for his age, fearlessly going up against bigger and stronger defenders. His awareness on the defensive end were elite, sliding over at the right time as a help defender and chasing down defenders on the fast break. Where he really makes a difference is how well he able to operate as a screener out of the pick and roll. He is aware and picks his spots to pop or roll, and even smartly slipped a screen to get a wide open catch and shoot opportunity. In one game, he knocked down big shots at the free throw line and attacked the rim to keep his team in position to win the game.
He is a high level shot maker with his long arms, allowing him to shoot over smaller defenders. He calmly rises up over anyone, efficiently hitting shots from anywhere you could want it from your big, the high post, the corners and even stretching the floor from beyond the arc. Meneffe already has all of the skills that a college coach could want out of a prototypical big. I am intrigued to watch him play and develop over the next few years.He is going to make some noise this season, alongside TJ Ford Jr 2023 and Dorian Hayes 2025. He and Ford already have a real connection, picking and popping his opponent’s to death with his range from beyond.

Jaylen is an aggressive two way guard who can lock you up and then race the other way to finish on your head on the other end. I loved his determination to get to the rim when he had the ball in his hands in the open court, putting pressure on the defense with his tenacity and willingness to run the fast break. Where he really made a difference was his ability to turn defense into offense and how well he played the passing lanes. He constantly baited his opponents into bad passes, using his athleticism to quickly explode to the ball and close gaps. Reedus is a willing defender and rebounder, and already has a motor made for the next level.
Within the half court setting, he showed an ability to spot up in the corners or cut back door for easy opportunities. He was aware in picking his spots to slash and pull up, taking what the defense gave him. He showed an ability to put the ball on the floor and drive and kick as well. He was smart for attacking the rim and establishing his dominance on the interior first, before picking the defense apart with his passes. I would like to see him get more comfortable with his handle and ability to pull up in the mid-range and get to his spots off the bounce from beyond the arc.

2024 5’11 Fort Bend Elkins High School
Todd is a high level point guard who can score across all three levels off the bounce, but also set up his teammates. He always made good reads with the ball in his hands, especially in the full court. He found his teammates who were leaking out on the fast break with crisp passes, and then controlled the tempo within the half court. His natural instincts to set up his teammates was really fun to watch. He hit his big man (

2024) with great passes to set him up, the two of them have a real connection out of the pick and roll or pop.
Elkins has another high level guard that comes in as the sixth man- Charlie Reado 2024, and I think the two of them could develop together and become a nasty two headed monster in the back court. I would like to see Woods get a bit more aggressive in hunting for his looks, he sees the floor as a true point guard, but will need to pick up his consistency from the mid-range and in the paint. Elkins is going to be a really fun team to watch over these next two years, get out and see them if you can!
Khalil Adam Elbatrawy 2024 6’3 Dickinson High School
Khalil is an impressive athlete who knocks down shots from the perimeter, and also put the ball on the floor and put pressure on the defense on the interior. He is a very consistent shooter off the catch, and looks to have all the tools to become a valuable floor spacer. He has a quick release, and gets good lift on his jumper to shoot over the top of smaller defenders. His quick trigger and ability to catch and shoot should be a vital asset to Dickinson’s basketball team, already boasting two division one prospects;

2023 and Marcus “Smurf” Millender 2023 (South Alabama Commit). As Zyon slashes and attacks the rim, while Millender dances around guards to get to the rim, there should be plenty of opportunities to catch cross court passes in the corners.
Elbatrawy even showed off his athleticism in warmups; throwing down jaw dropping dunks and flying through the air. His frame is a bit skinny, but expected with his age. As he continues to put on more strength and add to his athleticism and ability to attack with a live dribble, he can really become an impressive prospect. I would really like to see him continue to develop as a combo guard, improving his comfort-ability with his handle and floor vision.
