SCARY PLAYERS
He was All-State last season and he led the Magicians to the State Championship! Dissette picked up offers from UND and NDSU this spring and he committed to the Bison. Darik is a rangy, tough, and explosive athlete. He is the best defender in North Dakota. His pull-up game is excellent and his 3-point shooting percentage was in the low 40’s during the AAU season! By the end of the summer, Dissette was looking like a high-level D1 player. He was locking up guys that have committed to Power 5 schools. It is starting to seem like NDSU got a steal!

is a must watch player! This kid is SCARY-good!
He was All-State his junior year, played very well this spring, and he is committed to UND for hoops! Doppler is a big, tough, and a skilled guard. His shooting range goes out to NBA depth. He is a strong guard that finishes well around the rim. Anthony is also a tough defender and a clutch playmaker. Doppler is going to have a monster senior year.
After a great junior season and an outstanding spring AAU season, Erikson committed to UND for hoops. I have said this many times, but Erikson is the best low post in North Dakota. His skills and feel for the game are reminiscent of a PG not a 4/5 man. I love his footwork and crafty scoring around the rim. Ryan and the Pats have the most talented team in North Dakota. In no time, they will be on the court and ready to prove it!
He recently made news on Twitter with an offer from Oregon State! Kraft is a special athlete, he went out for football this fall and made some impressive plays. This past spring/summer, Kraft played AAU ball with Howard Pulley. Conner is a “stretch 4”, a matchup nightmare, a fearless dunker, and a double-double machine. Shanley and Kraft are ready to make some noise this winter!
I have not heard a whole lot about his college recruitment as of late but I know that he took a visit to NDSU early in the summer. Jeremiah is absolutely a Division 1 athlete. He glides through the air and finishes above the rim like few can. If you have not watched Sem play live, you are missing out! He is a human-highlight reel! Look out for Sem and the Spartans, they are a SCARY group!
He is not just a basketball STAR, Klabo is the STUD qb that is leading the Eagles in a playoff run right now in football. As a 9th grader, Mason was one of the best players in North Dakota. In fact, he was so good that NDSU offered him! Mason is a sniper from beyond the 3pt arc, his ball skills are amazing, and he is a fierce competitor. Expect he and the Eagles to dominate this winter.
He is committed to SDSU for hoops. If you like watching explosive & powerful players, Joe is your man! Sayler is a scoring machine that can completely take over a game. Joe can get his jump shot off anytime that he pleases. His step-back jumper is a thing of beauty. It seems like White River makes it to State every year. This year should be no different for Mr. Sayler and the Tigers!
He has committed to USD for hoops and he will be playing with his older brother next year in Vermillion. Isaac has to be the best in the Dakotas when it comes to reading/using screens. Watching him use the screens, manipulate the D, execute perfect footwork and shoot the ball with perfect mechanics is a work of art! The Panthers had a perfect season last year, can they do it again? I would not bet against Mr. Bruns. This kid will shoot your heart out!
He is committed to USF and the Sioux Falls kid will be staying home for hoops. Muirhead seems like a great get for the Cougars. You have seen me write many times about Muirhead and how impressive he was on the Prep Hoops Circuit. His dunking, alley-oop finishing, and rim-protecting are as good as you will see in the Dakotas. His highlight reel this winter is going to be something! Expect OG to be a tough team, gets many W’s, and for Gavin to be one of the best in the state!
He had multiple offers and he ultimately committed to Black Hills State. Edman was the best shot blocker that is watched the Dakotas last season. He is magnificent athlete and a thunderous dunker. I thought of him more as an “athlete” until I saw him in West Fargo this summer. This lefty can shoot and he is skilled! Edman is a dangerous slasher and a versatile finisher. He and the Govs are without a doubt one of the scariest teams in the Dakotas!
He is the #37th Nationally Ranked player in the Prep Hoops rankings! JT has many high-major D1 offers from around the country. The most recent offers came from Kansas and West Virginia. We do not see players like this very often in the Dakotas. It is rare for a player to get these type of offers. His size and skill are amazing. He is a complete game changer with his rebounding and rim-protecting. JT is a 7-footer but he has a sweet jump shot that he can consistently hit from beyond the arc. His post moves and footwork are improves and he finishes with a buttery smooth touch. All this is great, but Mr. Rock is an even better kid!
He recently committed to SDSU! It is always fun to hear about a local kid that commits to a team he grew up watching and cheering for. Squires has impressive length and size. His motor never stops and he plays super hard. Squires has great hands & feet. He is constantly improving and a hard worker. Alec moves well without the ball, he is not afraid to dunk on you and he is an elite rim-protector. Look out for Sioux Valley, expect another trip back to State!
