Collins is a one man fast break with the ability to get out and score in transition. He does it on both ends, as he has the athleticism to harass on the perimeter. He is shooter with the ability to put together consecutive makes.
Highlights
Bright is the top big man in the class. He has a developing post up game, showing the ability to score off direct post ups. With his size and strong hands he has the ability to be one of the more dominant rebounders in the class.
Highlights
Washington is a two sport star that has already made a name for himself on the football field. He’s not to bad on the basketball court either. The athletic wing has the ability to put pressure on defenders with his ability to get downhill and attack the rim.
Simeus possess an advanced offensive game. The shooting guard is good in 1 v 1 situations, using a smooth wiggle to seperate from defenders. He has the abilty to be a big time two way wing at the high school level.
Steward really came on late in the summer time. I had a chance to see him during the Grizzlies Summer Tournament and he showed good athleticism and the ability to score the ball around the rim. He’s a high flyer that could have an impact with his effort, energy and ability to get off the floor.
Oba is an intriguing player that has loads of talent. He has the frame of a prototypical wing and has shown flashes of smooth scoring ability. He is another player that I saw during the Grizzlies Summer tournament, where he impressed me with his mid range jump shooting ability.
Highlights
Coleman is a player that I’ll be keeping an eye on. Saw him during the Hustle Region Circuit and he improved a great deal from game 1 to game 8. He has good 1 v 1 ability, showing the knack for creating space with side step, and step back shots. He should see minutes for an athletic Desert Pines squad.
