Badger makes his first appearance, I got to see him during my Rancho Team preview stop, and based on the evaluation, he makes the list. I expect the hard nosed glue guy to have some impactful minutes for the Rams this season.
Nelson will see minutes for an improving Sierra Vista squad, with playoff aspirations. Not only is he a new addition, he’s a potential sleeper. Nelson shoots it a little, and has good positional size, he enters the list in the top 75.
I really apprciate Feazell’s patience and perssistance, and I’m not just talking about on the floor. The PG was vocal about having us check out his game, backing up his words with some impressive performances during the Labor Day Crown. Like his quickness, and love his ability to use advanced finishing moves around the rim, evident by his top 75 entry into the rankings.
Saw Kiper during our Top250 Showcase and was really impressed with his skills. Liked his handle, and he played with good speed and quickness. What earned him a spot on the rankings was his IQ, and passing ability, as Kiper showed good breakdown and distributing skills.
Simmons is a kid that I will looking to evaluate closely this season. He is a physical specemen that moves well. Young players on great programs are always intriguing, and I’m interested in seeing how he progresses throughout the season. I saw him last month at the Labor Day Crown and he made quite an impression, he enters the rankings near the top 50.
Lewis earned his spot last month when I saw him at the Labor Day Crown. He showed some skills, including good outside shooting ability. The combo is another talented player for Mojave, as he comes in as a top 70 player.
Mikias is a tough two way guard, that earned his way onto the list this summer. He has a good handle and can get buckets on drives to the rim. He’s a willing defender that plays with active hands, harassing ballhandlers throughout games, he comes into the list as a top 70 player.
Ziven highlights the depth at Spring Valley. He’s a player that I was fortunate to see during the Labor Day Crown. He showed remarkable 1 v 1 ability, getting to his spot and knocking down jumpers. He can shoot it, and finishes well, using his strong hand to drive the lane.
