SubscribeThe junior from ACGC will be asked to step into a bigger role for the Chargers this season and he played well at the Top 250 on both ends of the floor. He does a really good job getting into passing lanes and denying entry passes, and despite being smaller, he’ll compete hard on the glass on both ends of the floor. He showed that he can put the ball on the deck and create looks for himself and others.
Rogers had a really good day as a shooter, showing the ability to do so both off the dribble and the catch. He moves well without the ball in his hands and has his feet squared and ready to shoot when he receives the pass. He gets good rotation on his shot and has a smooth, repeatable release with a good follow through. He’ll rebound on both ends and does a good job moving his feet defensively.
A quick lead guard with great handles, Terrell is at his best when he’s playing downhill and attacking the rim, getting opportunities for himself and his teammates. He’s a good passer who sees the floor well, moves his feet well on defense, and is a creative finisher around the bucket.
Emgarten was a pleasant surprise throughout the afternoon, showing some good things on both ends of the floor. A long wing with some bounce, he’s solid on the glass on both ends of the floor. He gets the ball into his shooting pocket quickly off the dribble and showed that he’s a good enough ball-handler to put the ball on the floor and create looks for himself.
A powerful wing who uses his big, physical frame to bully his way to the bucket, Blakey is a really good finisher around the rim. He embraces contact and finishes through it. He makes good, crisp passes when he’s moving the ball, and he did a great job throughout the afternoon of competing on the defensive end.
A solid all-around floor general, Kiburis does a little bit of everything for his team, whether that’s playing in a setting like this, with Martin Brothers, or with his Rebels. He does a really good job passing into his teammates’ shooting pockets, allowing them to quickly get their shots off, and he sees the floor incredibly well. He has a good feel for the game and understands when he needs to attack and when he needs to get others involved. He didn’t shoot the ball very well from the arc as a junior, but he looked comfortable with his shot in a catch-and-shoot scenario, and if he can add a little more reliable jumper, he could have an all-time statistical season as a senior.
A bouncy wing who does a little bit of everything, Cooley impressed with his ability to defend multiple positions throughout the afternoon. He does a great job contesting shots and moving his feet on the defensive end, and he’s a good rebounder who handles it well enough to lead the break after pulling down a defensive board.

A big wing who shoots it really well from the arc, Menke moves very well without the ball in his hands, finding spaces in the defense to get his shot off. He also showed some good awareness, taking advantage of a defender who was peaking at the ball and burning him backdoor for a layup on a few occasions.
Kasongo was a new name for me, but he jumped out immediately, blocking shots on each of the first two possessions, then quickly following that up with a strong baseline drive into a reverse layup and then a corner 3 off the catch. He’s a long, bouncy athlete who has a knack for blocking shots and he showed some ability on the offensive end, creating shots for himself and his teammates. A strong all-around showing from the sophomore.
