He often had one thing on his mind and that was attacking the rim as hard as he could. He caught so many that I overheard one player asking another did he catch him and the response was “yes”. The accuracy on his jump shot made it hard to play off of him and when the defenders got to close it was a blow by. He was finishing with either hands at the rim. It seemed like every time I looked up he was hanging on the rim. It didn't matter if the opposing team put a bigger player or a smaller quicker player on him. He was repeatedly finishing plays hanging from the rim with his trademark smile.
