The Class of 2023 is one of the deepest that the Garden State has seen in years and the guard position is leading the way. We look at several more guards who will see major roles this winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='933715' first='Nasir' last='Wheeler'] | 5'9” | G | Newark East Side

Wheeler is a high motor player and a tough defender who does a little bit of everything when called upon by his coaches for the Ironbound school. He's got the range to hit shots from deep and also is a key part of East Side's defensive efforts on top of the press. His best game as a junior was 14 vs University. Four year varsity player. D3s should be checking in this winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='1150543' first='Will' last='Bradley'] | 6'2” | G | CBA

A well rounded backcourt leader who topped the charts for the Colts in the scoring category last year. He can move the ball but is at his best when he's getting looks to hit shots from beyond the three point line. He can also create opportunities off the dribble. Bradley is a fundamentally sound and coachable player coming from a traditional powerhouse. Good high release point on his jumper. He hit RFH for 26 and had 18 vs Ranney, 16 vs Middletown South and 14 vs Immaculata. Regional D3s should be very interested.

[player_tooltip player_id='1402101' first='Joe' last='White'] | 6'3” | G | CBA

If CBA pushes its way back into the Top 5 at the shore this winter, White will be a key ingredient to the recipe. White is a solid shooter who can hit from deep and is a tough on ball defender. He's got athleticism and can grab boards or get above the rim. He had 18 vs Howell and 16 vs Mater Dei. He should be a big contributor as a senior and D3s should be interested in him as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1025355' first='Keith' last='Adame'] | G | Jackson Memorial 2023

Adame, joining [player_tooltip player_id='933644' first='Samir' last='Padilla'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1013066' first='Respect' last='Tyleek'], is another hard-nosed guard for Jackson this coming season. He's a good ballhandler who can attack the basket off the dribble and isn't afraid of contact. He's got the ability to score at multiple levels and is a tough defender. He had 18 vs Southern and 17 vs Toms River South as top games as a junior. D3s should be watching.

[player_tooltip player_id='1206543' first='Colin' last='Haluska'] | 6'3” | G | Matawan

Haluska has a solid build which allows him to be a versatile bigger guard. He's got the size to finish around the basket but can also step back to hit from beyond the arc. He's a well rounded player who hits the glass at both ends of the floor. He will lead a Matawan team that is very young but full of potential. He had 26 vs Ocean, 22 vs RFH and colleges shouldn't be turned off by the Huskies 4-20 season. They were painfully young and Haluska led their efforts.
