Here we have my other pick to have the best shot at a title from the east side. They were in the final last year and came up a little short. They return the most prolific shooter from the east. Here are my best from the Greater Spokane district. Last year’s number 4 seed, finished 2nd.
Pullman
He is that shooter I mentioned. One of the best shooters in the state regardless of classification. He got 22PPG last season and he will no doubt up that in his this year in his senior season. I feel like I am selling him short by calling him a shooter. He’s a scorer. He understands how and when and where to put points on the board. He can drop a quiet 25 before you know it, and he’s likely to do that and more on a nightly basis this season. The offers are coming in and he is worth the price of admission. Tough player, he’s on my short list for 2A player of the year.
Brown’s running mate in the backcourt. He might be overlooked a bit because of that. He can ball. A good athlete who can run with anyone in, these two give Pullman one of the best backcourts in 2A. They would be tough at any level. Barbour will be a solid source of points, while forcing teams to play it straight up and not only focus on Brown.
He gives Pullman an athletic three man to complete the backcourt. He’s versatile and has the potential to break out as well. The more I look at this team, the more I believe they will be a really tough out come March. Last year’s number four seed They have been there before and will be ready to take it one notch further.
Clarkston
Always a tough squad in the Greater Spokane district. Finished 14-6 in the regular season last year. Didn’t get to Yakima, but have a solid foundation back to make a playoff run this season.
Smooth shooting lefty plays hard and is a talented player on the offensive end. He has NBA range from three. He’s crafty and can get to the bucket. Good court vision. Picks up full court after getting a fast break bucket in a showcase tournament where defense is not always the main focus. Tells you how tough and hard nosed he is. He will be the main man in this his junior year.

He’s a great athlete, wide receiver on the football team right now. He likes to get after it on the defensive end in hoops and can finish the deal on the other end. Clarkston will have a nice backcourt themselves with Santana being the trigger man.
