One of the few players reclassifying to 2025, Santana was already a top-20 prospect in the 2024 class a season ago and holds an offer from D-I Weber State. He’s a lightning quick guard who shows some ability to hit from deep and is developing well as a point guard at Great Futures Prep with plenty of talent to dish to.

Santana is a pace-setter. He’s able to control the flow of the game pretty well on both sides of the ball from the point. He did a great job creating and keeping separation from his defender, giving the offense time to get going, or opening up lanes to drive to the hoop. And has the ability to stretch the floor when defenses shrink in on their bigs.

Quickness and effort come to mind when I think of Santana’s game. He’s an ultra-quick player who can get to the rim and lock up ballhandlers on the other side. He’s been putting up big scoring numbers the last two years but a lot of the shots he takes are deep threes, or highly contested shots closer in. I think finding ways to be a better playmaker and finding those tough passing windows could help him put more pressure on the defense by taking some off himself at the same time. He’s already shown he can dime guys up in the AAU season, but I think those numbers can be even higher and could really help his prospects at the next level.

Xavier is a great player who excels on both sides of the ball. He is scoring guard with unlimited range, and the ability to blow by the defense and score. He isn’t afraid to get after it on defense either. I once saw him get a bucket in a Showcase tournament and immediately turn around and pick up full court That speaks to the way he plays hard all the time. He is smooth and can score off the dribble, and is able to create his own shot. A tough, hard nosed player with a smooth and easy scoring knack on all levels. He got over 20 points per game this season and that number is sure to rise as he gets into his senior year with confidence and experience. One of the best guards in 2A. Look for him to dominate on both ends of the floor next season, making him a prospect on the rise.

It is almost too perfect that Santana plays for a team nicknamed the Bantams, because his game fits the definition to a tee. He’s not the biggest guard but he is lightning quick, unrelenting, and at times unstoppable. He causes equally daunting pressure on both ends of the court and can go on his own scoring runs, pushing pace and forcing defenses to react. Santana averaged about 20 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals per game last season and is a playmaker in every way for the Clarkston Bantams.

Smooth shooting lefty plays hard and is a talented player on the offensive end. He has NBA range from three. He’s crafty and can get to the bucket. Good court vision. Picks up full court after getting a fast break bucket in a showcase tournament where defense is not always the main focus. Tells you how tough and hard nosed he is. He will be the main man in this his junior year.
