SubscribeNow that we have fully updated all the classes we are ranking currently (C/O 2026 to come during season). I have been taking a deeper look into each of the class rankings and seeing which players could potentially be on the rise during the next update. The class of 2025 appears to be deep, though they are early in their careers so time will tell. Here are some players within the top 50 that could rise during the next update.
The people who follow Washington State high school basketball have yet to see Davis play much varsity basketball, but he’s shown out on the AAU scene which is why he’s ranked number 11 in the rankings. The newly transferred Fogle will now have the opportunity to showcase his skills on a bigger varsity level attending Anacortes HS. Despite already being number 11, I still believe Davis has the ability to crack the top 10. His game is still evolving, but he has a lot in his arsenal. He has shown the capability to score at all 3 levels effectively, being able to drive to the hoop using his size and length to his advantage often. His jumper is consistent. but improving as well. He facilitates the ball extremely well, which is why I believe Anacortes could potentially have a deep run this season.
Gage is absolutely set for a massive breakout season. WF West had a great year last year and Gage played a big part of the team as the starting point guard. His game has been growing over the summer, as he seems more athletic, agile, and quick. All things that will start to separate him from other players. He attacks the rim hard, finishing the ball consistently through traffic sometimes even dunking on players who are a couple inches taller than him. I personally think he’s one of the best shooters in the entire class. He lets it fly and it’s a beautiful thing to watch. Brumfield is an elite defender as well, being able to move his feet very well and staying in front of the offensive player with ease. WF West is poised for a big season with Gage and company.
Dayne last year as a freshman was extremely impressive, especially playing in the Metro League. Dayne has a ton of potential and showed that last year on the court as a freshman. He got a good amount of playing time, being able to show off his abilities. He’s an excellent shooter, being able to hit the three off of catch and shoots with ease or pulling up if the defense leaves him open. He does a great job finding his open teammates in transition and when he’s driving the ball. Cardoza is poised to have a bigger role in the offense this year with Ingraham HS.
Brock’s game has been developing nicely. He rebounds the ball very well for a guard, using his body well to his advantage. He runs the floor hard every time, which is exactly what you want from every player. He gives his all every play, going 110% no matter what. His shot is what I think will start to separate from from other watch list players. Playing for Bellevue Christian, he does go unnoticed more so than other players who are similar skill sets. He plays under-pressure well, containing his emotions to focus on the game often. He’s poised for a big sophomore season this year, which could have him rise.
Brady is a force on the basketball court. He plays extremely aggressive, as he should. He uses his body to his advantage very well, out bodying many opposing players. He reads the ball coming off the rim very good, grabbing rebounds with ease. Offensively, he has a plethora of post moves he can put on display. He runs the court too, filling the correct lanes often. His IQ is amazing and will only continue to improve. Ackerman hits the midrange shot consistently as well, forcing defenders to be aware at all times. He’s going to play a significant role in this Pioneers team this season.
