Steele’s slashing attacks in his game are definitely his highlight point. uses a variety of different pickups and gathers on his drives. He does a great job of initiating contact and drawing fouls as well. He’s got a very quick first step and just explodes baseline when he gets the ball in the corner. Handle is solid and will use it to create separation then blow by his man with his quickness. Excited to see how he progresses this winter for Platteview.
Amir Martin Amir Martin 6'5" | SG Omaha Bryan | 2025 State NE | 6’4 G | Omaha Bryan/ETG Midwest
Martins game all around is just very smooth. Pure shot from deep with some added range. Shoots it particularly well off the catch but can jab his man off and knock it down. He can also pump fake, or jab and blow by, and either finish at the rim or create for teammates. I really like his vision on drives as he made some great passes in games I saw. Very unselfish for how great of a scorer he is. Definitely a player we will be talking a lot about.
Bryson Bahl Bryson Bahl 6'4" | SG Papio South | 2025 State #289 Nation NE | 6’3 G | Papio South/Nebraska Supreme
Bahl has showed out to be one of the most consistent shooters in this 2025 class. He’s a threat off the catch and is also a threat off the bounce. Very comfortable shooting off the hop as well. Crazy quick release when he doesn’t have a lot of space with a defender closing out. He will also attack if the closeout is too much and knock down a floater. Crashes boards on both ends of the court and has gotten some easy putback layups as a result.
Ammi Williams Ammi Williams 5'10" | PG Bellevue East | 2025 State NE | 5’9 G | Bellevue East/EYCE (pictured)
Williams is one of 2025s smallest but more creative guards on the offensive end. At his size he does have to get creative with his finishes against taller defenders and he converts. Distributes it well and has some solid vision. Has a great handle and does a great job of changing his pace. What I really like about his game is his defense. Very active on and off ball with great lateral quickness to keep offensive players contained.
Tayvin Zephier-Murphy Tayvin Zephier-Murphy 6'4" | CG Omaha Westview | 2025 State NE | 6’3 G | Omaha Westview/Nebraska Supreme
Tayvin’s game from last summer to this summer you can just see how much stronger he has gotten with the ball in his hands. Plenty of two foot finishes, strong takes, and finishing through his defender. He’s really turned into a strong guard on both ends of the floor. He grabbed rebounds and as a guard was able to get out and push the pace. Also had a handful of blocks at the Expo. He’s going to be a big time leader of a young Westview squad.
