Group 4 is full of competition as it houses the largest public schools in the Garden State. Westfield's [player_tooltip player_id='1150537' first='TJ' last='Halloran'] committed to RPI recently and Group 4 still has plenty of players that can make an impact at the next level, especially in the backcourt. Here are the top available 2023 guard prospects in Group 4.

[player_tooltip player_id='902757' first='Jalen' last='Robinson'], 5'10 PG Columbia

Robinson has been running the Panthers' offense since his freshman season and will do it again this season. The 5'10 guard has a good handle, which he uses to blow by his defender and is a solid finisher around the basket. Robinson knows how to create space off the dribble and has a smooth release on his jumper. He is a good passer and uses his quick hands to get deflections on defense. Robinson is a crafty floor general whose ability to run the offense and score the ball is something that will help his stock in 2022-23.

[player_tooltip player_id='1150278' first='Sutan' last='Fitzpatrick'], 5'10 PG Newark East Side

Fitzpatrick will be the go-to guy for the Red Raiders this season and is looking to lead them on a deep state run in his final varsity season. The 5'10 guard explodes off the floor for dunks and does not mind contact in the paint. Fitzpatrick has a solid mid-range game and plays with confidence with the ball in his hands. He is a strong rebounder for a guard and works hard on the defensive end. Fitzpatrick is a tough guard prospect who does whatever it takes to help his team win games.

[player_tooltip player_id='1150281' first='Antwan' last='Bridgett'], 5'9 PG Trenton

Bridgett helped lead the Cyclones to the Central Jersey Group 4 title game and will be the catalyst for their offense again this season. The 5'9 guard has a tight handle as he runs the offense efficiently and is not fazed by on-ball pressure. Bridgett has a smooth release on his jumper and can shoot either off the catch or dribble. He knows how to get his teammates involved in the half court and plays with quick hands on the defensive end. Bridgett is a skilled lead guard prospect who should put up big numbers for Trenton Central this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1017198' first='DJ' last='Germann'], 5'11 PG Egg Harbor

Germann will be the go-to guy for the Eagles this season and he should have a big winter for them. The 5'11 guard has a good shooting stroke and sets his feet before he shoots. Germann is more than just a shooter as he has a nice handle and is a strong finisher around the basket. He has the ability to play off the ball and knows how to make plays when he gets into the lane. Germann is a player to watch in the CAL with his ability to score the ball in a variety of ways.

[player_tooltip player_id='1150536' first='Davontay' last='Hutson'], 6'2 SG Trenton

Hutson plays more on the wing for the Tornadoes, but he does have the potential to play in the backcourt. The 6'2 wing attacks the basket with a purpose as he is a strong finisher around the rim and can make tough shots through contact. Hutson can also score in the mid-range and moves well without the ball in his hands. He rips down rebounds on both ends of the floor and uses his athleticism to make plays on the defensive end. Hutson is a two-way wing prospect who should make plays all season long for Trenton.
