*All players will be listed in alphabetical order

1st Team

Jake Forbes (6'3" | Holden)

Aaron Garcia (6'0" | Lacassine)

[player_tooltip player_id='1218221' first='Dustin' last='Welch'] (6'2" | Anacoco)

The preseason first team will also be the primary contenders for the Class B most outstanding player at the end of the season. [player_tooltip player_id='970111' first='Jamaria' last='Clark'] is the cream of the crop in this group. The Doyline guard is one of the top combo guards in the state and he is garnering his share of Division I interest. [player_tooltip player_id='970121' first='Trevor' last='Daughtery'] has high level playmaking ability and he is a thief on the defensive end. His return to JS Clark should see an advancement in points in production. Jake Forbes of Holden is the classic Class B big man who can shoot it from outside and dominate on the inside. His ability to score and defend makes him a first teamer. Aaron Garcia was one of the state's best kept secrets last season. He makes others better with his passing and he knows how to score as seen last year putting up 20 ppg. Rounding out the 1st team is another 20 point scorer in [player_tooltip player_id='1218221' first='Dustin' last='Welch']. His knockdown shooting ability is just one facet of his game. He can score and defend as well.

2nd Team

Zakelveon Gadison (6'2" | Rapides)

[player_tooltip player_id='1273366' first='Kenneth' last='Montgomery'] (6'0" | Zwolle)

[player_tooltip player_id='1560416' first='Jacob' last='Vilar'] (6'2" | Episcopal of Acadiana)

Kaelip Wright (6'1" | Sismboro)

[player_tooltip player_id='1492960' first='Kane' last='Broussard'] is one of the more talented underclassmen we have in Louisiana. He is not bashful about mixing it up in the paint and he can score from the perimeter. Very talented player. Zakelveon Gadison is a double-double waiting to happen the way he scores and rebounds. He will lead a Rapides squad moving down to Class B from Class 1A. [player_tooltip player_id='1273366' first='Kenneth' last='Montgomery'] was named to the 1st team in Class B by the sportswriters. He is one of the top point guards in the class and he is a crunch time performer. His willingness to take, and make, big shots is a definite reason he is on this list. [player_tooltip player_id='1560416' first='Jacob' last='Vilar'] is a three level scorer who can also pass the ball. He will have Episcopal of Acadiana in the hunt for a district title and a possible playoff run. Kaelip Wright is yet another guard in the long line of versatile guards that come from Simsboro. He has a championship pedigree and two way ability that will lead this latest rendition of the Simsboro Tigers.
